Rapping …  the  … Rapture
This is the BASIS for the Fundamentalist / Protestant position of those who choose to believe in a “Third coming of Christ. Because this not an issue that either leads to Salvation or eternal damnation, I choose not to spend a great amount of time on it.
“Preterists and Historicists call us “Futurists” (Premillennialists) partly because we believe Jesus will return to Earth at the end of the great tribulation period and before the 1000 years of peace begins, but largely because we believe the Antichrist will come on the scene in the future. However, Preterists believe the Antichrist and the Second Coming happened almost 2000 years ago (way back in 70 AD), and (again) we Premillennialists believe the antichrist (and the Second Coming) will come in the future. The Historicists also believe the Antichrist appeared in the past, but that the Second Coming will take place at the end of the 1,000 years (the Millennium).”

Catholic and Biblical evidence points to only the Incarnation of Christ and His Second and final coming: The Final judgment! At the end of the world as we know it. Anything beyond this is man’s fables, and unguided by the Holy Spirit understanding.
John 16:8: And when he is come, he will convince the world of sin, and of justice, and of judgment. .. Matthew 24:5 For many will come in my name saying, I am Christ: and they will seduce many .. Matthew 24:42 Watch ye therefore, because ye know not what hour your Lord will come. Matthew 24:44 Wherefore be you also ready, because at what hour you know not the Son of man will come .. Luke 12:40 Be you then also ready: for at what hour you think not, the Son of man will come. ..John 14:3 And if I shall go, and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will take you to myself; that where I am, you also may be. .. John 14:18 I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you. ..Revelation 3:3Have in mind therefore in what manner thou hast received and heard: and observe, and do penance. If then thou shalt not watch, I will come to thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know at what hour I will come to thee. .. Revelation 11:14 The second woe is past: and behold the third woe will come quickly: Haydock’s Catholic Commentary: Ver. 14. These visions belonged to the second woe, and the third woe is at hand. — Second woe; the persecution of antichrist. — Third woe, or the day of judgment, is near at hand.”

“Two Views of the Bible
Dispensationalism is derived from the idea that God has worked in different ways throughout history through different economies or dispensations. A dispensationalist makes a severe division between the Old and New Covenants, God acting with wrath and vengeance in the Old Testament and with love and grace in the New Testament. Dispensationalism teaches the imminent “secret” rapture of the Church, divides the end times into several dispensations, and teaches a conspiratorial view of history with evil forces rivaling the forces of God.
John Nelson Darby, founder of a group called the Plymouth Brethren in the 1830s, is the father of modern dispensationalism. Darby taught that the Second Coming of Christ was imminent. He rejected the creeds of the early Church and believed social reform to be useless. C.I. Scofield, a Texas pastor, popularized the teachings of J.N. Darby in a systematic theology known as dispensational premillennialism. C.I. Scofield first compiled his reference Bible as a teaching aid for missionaries. It soon became one of the most widely used tools for Bible study among entire denominations such as Southern Baptists and Disciples of Christ.
Despite the fact that many of the early dispensationalists were orthodox Christians, this shift in theology paved the way for an much greater error, antinomianism, which means literally “anti-law.” Antinomianism states that since man is saved by faith alone, and since faith frees the Christian from the law, he no longer bound to obey the law.
Antinomianism creates a false theological system in which the laws of the Bible cannot apply to governing the individual or society. Dispensationalism promoted antinomian thinking by de-emphasizing the relationship of the Old Testament law to the individual under the New Testament. In turn this led to a waning influence of Christians in society, since most of the laws pertaining to civil government are found in the Old Testament.
To the orthodox Christian
, the unity of the covenants of Scripture and the moral law of God are obvious foundations of Christian social order. The covenantal idea of God’s unchanging eternal covenant and a corresponding high view the moral law of God, stand in stark contrast to dispensationalism and antinomianism.
The dispensational theory of premillennialism has gained great popularity mainly among modern evangelicals. The dispensational view of premillennialism, with its elaborate conspiracy theories, time tables, charts and graphic scenarios, is essentially a chiliast error. It has been most often accompanied by the false notion that the Second Coming is a predictable event with an identifiable time-table. This is despite Christ’s warning that “it is not for you to know the times or the seasons” (Acts 1:7).
The fascination with the exact date of the Second Coming always appears as history approaches years with big round numbers. Chiliasm reappeared shortly before 500, 1000 and 1500 AD. Not surprisingly, we saw a reemergence of this error in full force as we approached 2000. Financially profitable publications advancing theories and speculations on the Second Coming are appearing everywhere. In contrast to Christ’s biblical admonition against predicting the time of the Second Coming (Mat. 25:13), many evangelical books authored in recent years have predicted the exact time of the Second Advent, for example
: Hal Lindsey’s Late Great Planet Earth, Edgar Whisenant’s, 88 Reasons Why the Rapture Will Be In 1988, and Harold Camping’s 1994, which was a best seller in 1993, and the novel series, Left Behind, by Tim LaHaye
However, now that we have passed the millennial milestone of 2000, many Christians are reconsidering their eschatological viewpoint
. Many Christians have been taught that geo-political Israel would be a focus of end-times events. Seeing now that over 50 years have passed since the establishment of a Jewish nation-state, many are reconsidering an alternate interpretation of both the Mount Olivet Discourse and the book of Revelation.
What about the rapture?
In my rebuttal to classic premillennialism, I argue that the purpose of the book of Daniel is to point the Jews to the exact time and circumstances surrounding the coming of the Messiah. The main purpose of Daniel’s prophecy is to point to the first advent, not the second advent. Further, the context of 1 Corinthians 15:23-25;50-54 indicates a simultaneous Second Coming and final judgment.
So what about the rapture? Is the rapture secret or not? Postmillennialists believe in the rapture. We simply do not believe in the dispensationalist version of this great event. The rapture is synonymous with the resurrection of the righteous. However, this event will not be secret. It will not occur seven years prior to a future millennium, nor 1007 years prior to the final judgment. Postmillennialists believe in the rapture. We believe it will occur at the time of the Second Coming, just before the final judgment, after the millennial reign is complete.”  …

Raptured or Not?
A Catholic Understanding …“What is the Catholic teaching”
onhttp://www.americancatholic.org/Newsletters/CU/ac1005.asp
“The Rapture?” It was over 30 years ago that a student in my Scripture class asked me that question. Drawing on all my years of Catholic education (kindergarten through the seminary and doctoral studies), I replied, “The what?” I had never heard of it.
“In the intervening years, talk of the Rapture has become much more pervasive in our culture. Through radio and TV preachers, the Moral Majority movement of the 1970s and 1980s, the turn of the millennium in the year 2000, and the phenomenal success of the “Left Behind” series of novels (recently completed at volume 12 and earning a cover story in the May 24, 2004 issue of Newsweek magazine, it is likely that few Catholics today would share my response. They would, however, probably still be a bit puzzled by it, and ask another question as well, “Will we, as Catholics, share in the Rapture?”
In this Update we will address these questions. We will begin by looking at the meaning and origin of the Rapture doctrine. Then we will briefly consider the key biblical passage which is foundational to it. Finally, we will highlight some problem areas it presents
The Rapture doctrine: what and when?
But what do we mean by “the Rapture”? The word can be used in different ways. Spiritual writers have used it for mystical union with God, or our final sharing in God’s heavenly life. This is not the sense we are using it in here; we are using it in a much more specific way.
For many American fundamentalist Christians, the Rapture forms part of the scenario of events that will happen at the end of the world. While differences exist among various groups, the more common view goes like this: At the end, Jesus will come on the clouds of heaven and the righteous (“the saints”) will be raptured, that is, caught up into the air, to be with Christ. They will be separated from sinners who will remain on the earth to endure a period of great suffering (the Tribulation).
After this, Jesus will rule on earth for 1000 years (the Millennium); finally, then, Jesus comes at the end in judgment (the parousia) and will inaugurate the new heavens and the new earth. The Rapture is significant, then, as the first of the events that mark this “end of the world.” This scenario appears as such nowhere in the New Testament; it is put together through a particular interpretation of various and scattered texts.
While speculation about the end of the world is as old as Christianity, this particular scenario is not. In fact, it is not yet 200 years old!
Origins of the Rapture
The Rapture seems to have been invented by a British religious figure named John Nelson Darby (1800-1882). He was ordained in the Church of Ireland and worked there to convert Catholics away from their folly. He was extremely pessimistic about what he saw as the state of the world and the state of the Church. He eventually left it, joining a dissident group called the Plymouth Brethren of which he soon became a prominent leader.
About 1830, he began teaching that Jesus’ coming at the end of time would be preceded by a “rapture of the saints.” Some members of his own Brethren community objected that this was not biblically founded, but Darby dismissed any criticism. It had, he claimed, been revealed to him by God.
He would eventually distance himself from this group and travel extensively in the 1860s and 1870s in Europe, the United States, and Canada, where his views were very influential. (Especially important is their appearance in the Scofield Reference Bible, which was printed first in 1909. The 1967 edition is still in print and is very popular in many Protestant fundamentalist circles.)
Despite Darby’s denials, scholars have suggested several possible influences on his Rapture views. In 1830, in Port Glasgow, Scotland, a 15-year-old girl, Margaret MacDonald, a follower of a charismatic Scottish preacher, Edward Irving, attended a healing service at which she saw a vision of a two-stage return of Christ. Darby adopted and expanded her vision.
Another suggestion traces the influence to a Jesuit priest, Manuel Lacunza (1731-1801), who was born in Chile but came to Italy in 1767 where he would spend the rest of his life. Posing as a converted Jew (under the pseudonym Juan Josafat Ben Ezra), he wrote, in Spanish, a large apocalyptic work entitled The Coming of the Messiah in Glory and Majesty. The book appeared first in 1811, 10 years after his death. In 1827, it was translated into English by none other than Edward Irving, an acquaintance of and possible influence on Darby. Given Darby’s hatred of Catholics, this possible influence adds an ironic touch!
The ‘Rapture text’ in Scripture
Those who propose the Rapture maintain that it is found in Scripture. From its first appearance, as we have seen, others have questioned this. What are we to think?
Written by Paul from Corinth, about 50 or 51 A.D., less than 20 years after the death of Christ, 1 Thessalonians is commonly considered the oldest book of the New Testament. It is clear that these earliest Christians were eagerly expecting Jesus’ return in glory at the end of the world. As time went on and this was delayed, two pastoral problems emerged that Paul addresses in these lines.
The first is the question of when. Paul tells them that they “know very well” that we do not know the time of the end; it will come like a thief in the night. This becomes a truism throughout the New Testament, appearing in the Synoptic Gospels
(Mt 24:42,44; Mark 13:21-23, 32-33; Luke 12:39-40; 17:20-24; 21:34-35); Acts of the Apostles (1:6-7); the Letters (our passage and 2 Peter 3:9-10); and even in the Book of Revelation, not once but twice (Rv 3:3; 16:15)! Needless to say, this clear teaching has been consistently ignored by many up to the present day.
The second question seems more urgent. Since Christ’s coming was delayed, some of the community had died. Those who were left became worried: Would the dead lose out in some way at Christ’s return? Would they be at any disadvantage?
In describing Jesus’ return, Paul combines imagery drawn from two sources. From biblical apocalyptic (e.g., Daniel 7:13), he gets the coming on the clouds of heaven with the angelic trumpets. From his Greco-Roman experience, he gets the imagery of an arrival of a king on a state visit (in Greek, parousia); a joyful multitude goes out to meet him on the road and accompany him back to the city.
The dead will rise first and then we, the living, will be “snatched” up to join them in the air. Many pagan epitaphs of the time spoke of the living “being snatched” away by death. Here Paul speaks of our “being snatched” up to join the Lord and to welcome him at his return.
In the ancient world, the “air” was a scary place filled with unseen beings, many of them hostile. Together with Christ, there will be nothing to fear. Paul means this as a message of comfort and consolation for the Thessalonians. Christians do grieve the loss of their loved ones, but they should not do so “as others do who have no hope.”
The passage is about Jesus’ return in glory at the end of the world. The New Testament knows of only one such return. There is no “first” second coming!
Further, the passage says absolutely nothing about being “separated from” sinners; the whole thrust is exactly the opposite. It is about “being together with” the dead. There is no suggestion that once we meet Jesus “in the air” that he then turns around and goes back, taking us with him, to return later.
The conclusion is clear: There is no basis whatsoever in this passage for a doctrine of the Rapture. To see such a doctrine here is a complete distortion of the biblical text. If we were to examine other biblical texts often cited in support of this doctrine (e.g., Mt 24:40-41; Luke 17:34-35; Rv 3:10), the results would be the same.
Church teaching on the Rapture
A s Roman Catholics, we might ask, “Has the Church censured anything regarding the Rapture doctrine?” The answer would have to be no and yes.
No, to my knowledge, there has never been an explicit statement relative to the Rapture. But as we have seen, the Rapture forms part of a particular millennial expectation based on a particular use of biblical texts. Yes, the Church has explicitly rejected both this kind of speculation and this way of interpreting the Scriptures.
The Council of Ephesus (431) denounced it as “a deviation and a fable.” It was denounced again in 1516 at the Fifth Lateran Council. In 1824, the work of Manuel Lacunza (noted above) was placed on the Index of Forbidden Books. In 1941 and 1944, responding to questions from the Archbishop of Santiago, Chile, the Congregation of the Holy Office (now the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith) again rejected this kind of millennial speculation with explicit reference to the work of Lacunza. As recently as April 22, 1998, with the turn of the millennium approaching, Pope John Paul II warned again against this way of thinking.
In interpreting biblical texts, the Church has stressed that it is essential that we take account of their literary genres since truth is expressed differently in different types of writing (Vatican II: Dei Verbum #12; Catechism of the Catholic Church #110).
In its 1993 document, The Interpretation of the Bible in the Church, the Pontifical Biblical Commission both reaffirmed this (Section I-A) and rejected as inadequate the so-called “fundamentalist” interpretation at play in the Rapture doctrine and scenario (Section I-F).
As John Paul II expressed it on April 22, 1998, “We know that the apocalyptic images of the eschatological discourse about the end of all things should be interpreted in light of their intense symbolism.” It is not language that should be taken literally
Problems with the Rapture
We might conclude by asking, “What view of the world is encouraged, even legitimized by the Rapture/Left Behind ideology?” It can be fairly described as an extremely pessimistic, “outsider mentality.” It feels “left out” of the world and of society, so it eagerly anticipates leaving all of that behind. In fact, God shares their disgust, and the signs are clear: God is coming soon to put an end to it. The world itself is doomed to destruction, so there is obviously no point in caring for it or protecting it now.
Everyone left behind on the earth at the time of the Rapture will be subject to the sufferings of the Tribulation. The violence envisaged and described (as in the “Left Behind” novels) is almost pornographic in detail.
The spirit of vengeance is much in evidence as those “left behind” are subjected to extreme anguish. The hope that the earth and most of its inhabitants will soon be destroyed is a cause of happiness and rejoicing among those who are eager to be separated from sinners and “raptured” out of the world because then they will be with the Lord.
To this we might juxtapose another, very different, world view. The world of God’s creation is basically good (Gn 1). Though it is marred and broken by sin and death, it is still created in, through and for Jesus Christ
(Col 1:15-20). The world shares in the redemption of God and even now is groaning, awaiting the fullness of redemption (Rom 8:19-23) which will be manifested as a (re)new(ed) heavens and (re)new(ed) earth (Rv 21:1-5).
God sent the Son into this world out of love to show us the way to life. Jesus did not separate himself from sinners but, on the contrary, they seem to have been his preferred company. If we want to be with the Lord, we should be together with sinners.
God sent the Son into this world out of love to show us the way to life. Jesus did not separate himself from sinners but, on the contrary, they seem to have been his preferred company. If we want to be with the Lord, we should be together with sinners.
In all the Gospels, he is criticized by the self-righteous, “He eats with publicans and sinners” (e.g., Luke 5:29-32), but, as he assures us, there is more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 just
(Luke 15:7,10). The day of the Lord’s second coming is delayed, in fact, precisely because “ [the Lord] is patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9-10). Jesus’ harshest words are reserved for those who think they are secure and look down on others (e.g., the Pharisee and the publican, Luke 18:9-14).
Even though we may long for the day of the Lord’s return in glory, the time of that return is unknown. Not even Jesus knows; only the Father knows (
Mark 13:32). We are warned against false prophets who say that the end is near (Mt 24:23-26), but Jesus assures us, “I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Mt 28:20).
Until that time, we are to be about the Lord’s work, “Blessed are those servants whom the master will find at work when he arrives”
(Mt 24:46). If we look too eagerly for Jesus’ return on the clouds of heaven, we may pass him by too often on the street (Mt 25:31-46). It would seem that what gets left behind most in the “Left Behind” mentality is the whole Bible.
What’s a Catholic to believe?
We began with several questions: What is the Catholic teaching on the Rapture? There is none; there is no traditional Christian teaching on the Rapture. It is a late, and rather suspect, arrival on the scene.
Will Catholics be raptured? No, of course not, but then neither will be anyone else. But we are left behind with one final—and most important—question. It is not about the future, the question, Will I be taken up by the Rapture? Rather, it’s more about a present question: Will I be taken in by it?” End Quotes this article BY:

[QUOTE]Hi Patrick,
By what basis does the Catholic Church assume that the Pope is the valid centre of the covenant of Jesus Christ?
Warmest regards
????[/QUOTE]
It’s a good and a fair question. Thanks for asking.
One ought not be too surprised to find the answer within the Bible and Sacred Tradition; which too is biblical.
1. Traditions must be accepted both as a historical fact and as a necessity for the bible to even exist. First, the Old Testament is entirely based on mouth to mouth Traditional Beliefs being passed from father to son and so on, until it was finally recorded over time.
The New Testament is grounded in the Old Testament Teachings and practices; and because the bible would not be completed until the end of the First Century or early in the second Century; and it would be another couple of hundred years for it to be put is “Canon Form”; that interim had to also rely on Word of Mouth [traditions] for learning and sharing the Faith under the New Covenant. Major communities may have had and used parts of the bible; but much of the evangelized world did not.
1 Cor. 11 2: 2  “I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain thetraditions even as I have delivered them to you”
2 Thess. 2: 13 “But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. 14 To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter.
2 Thess  6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is living in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us
2 Thess. 2: 15-17 “ So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.”
2. Is understanding a bit about the Devine and Perfect Nature of our God. God does not change. Alter; perhaps, but not “change.”
Malachi) 3:6 “For I am the Lord, and I change not”
James 1:17 “Every best gift, and every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of alteration”
3. From these two understandings we can look at a historical foundation for what we term today; ‘the papacy”
First: we ask what is the purpose; the reason for the papacy to exist? The answer seems apparent enough. Ruling and Authoritive Governance.
Second: we ask: Is this an innovation of Christ and or of the Apostles? No, not at all.
Throughout the entire history of man and the “Chosen people” [singular here is signifient]
Exodus 6:7 And I will take you to myself for my people, I will be your God: and you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brought you out from the work prison of the Egyptians”
Exodus 16:12 “I have heard the murmuring of the children of Israel: say to them: In the evening you shall eat flesh, and in the morning you shall have your fill of bread: and you shall know that I am the Lord your God.”
God is perfect; unable to error; and has freely Himself chosen “a man” [singular: also signifient] to lead his “chosen people.”
Noe; Abram; Moses, The Judges; Kings like David; Joshua; the Prophets leading up to the High-Priest and then John the Baptist and then Jesus Christ Himself. All men; all singular leaders; All chosen by God to lead His Chosen people
Genesis 6:22 “And Noe did all things which God commanded him
Genesis 12:4, 7 So Abram went out as the Lord had commanded him, and Lot went with him: Abram was seventy-five years old when he went forth from Haran. … And the Lord appeared to Abram, and said to him: To thy seed will I give this land. And he built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him. Genesis 17:5 “Neither shall thy name be called any more Abram: but thou shalt be called Abraham: because I have made thee a father of many nations.” [BUT One people].
2 Samuel 8:11 “And king David dedicated them to the Lord, together with the silver and gold that he had dedicated of all the nations, which he had subdued”
John.15: 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you”
Third: We then ought not be surprised that Christ followed what God [he] had already long established. Single man-Leadership, for his chosen people [again singular.]
Forth: We then ask what is the significance “One chosen people” being led by “One God” and God- Chosen man?
The answer lies in the fact that God IS “Perfect and ALL -Knowing.” There is no better; no more sure way of identifying and acepting only One God, with is One set of Faith-beliefs; with His One-chosen people; than to have them led by ONLY One chosen; protected and God-Guided man. “only-ONE” is the critical understanding. There is with “only one,” no room for debate or argument. … How many Gods? ONE! How many chosen people? One; How many Leaders IN CHARGE: Always One. That is the key to Gods way of trying to prevent descent, and otherwise, inevitable errors.
Fifth: Your question suggest a lack of understanding of what the bible; quite clearly makes evident. The fact that the “bible” [which too is a word not appearing in “the bible“]; certainly does not mean or imply that the Lesson is not therein taught.
Matthew 16:15-19 “Jesus saith to them: But whom do you say that I am?
Simon Peter answered and said: Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answering, said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. And I [God] say to thee: [singular /alone] That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, [singular] and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to thee[singularthe keys of the kingdom of heaven. [ALL of them] And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven”
Critical points of right understanding of this passage. [I will not get into a “pebbles /rock debate here] Christ Spoke Aramaic; and the ONLY translation IS “ROCK.”
1. Jesus ask “All of them”
2. Peter presumes to Speak on Their behalf
3. Jesus confirms; then AFFIRMS this by informing Peter that HE was just “Divinely Inspired”
4. Jesus changes Simons name to “Peter” [meaning “ROCK”]
5. Christ announces that He [our Perfect God] WILL build “his church**] upon Peter [and later adds the other Apostles Mt. 18:18] NOTE: “My church” is singular: “ONE”
** ”church” this is the first use of the term “church” in the bible. Highly signifient  because it is saying: “I AM” [Exodus 3:14] starting a New Covenant; a New set of mandated Faith-beliefs; and a New Religious organization“.
Pagans would have their Temples
Jews their Synagogues
MY followers [Christians] their  will have “MY-church,”  Singular and CLEARLY indicative of a new covenant and a new set of mandated Faith-beliefs; UNDER the leadership of One God chosen man: Peter.
6. Satan will not conquer it! [It is Holy Spirit John 14:16-17; John 20:21-22 AND Christ Personally John 17:15-19 Protected] MY churches teaching on all matters of Faith-beliefs and Morals simply cannot be wrong; cannot be in error: I Christ prohibit it and am warranty for it.
7. “In giving “the keys [plural]” to Peter; Christ is saying that ALL access to heaven WILL BE through him [and successors].
8. The terms “Binding” and Loosing” have two very different meanings: 1. The power and Authority to Forgive sins [John 17:18 & John 20:19-23] 2. Unlimited Power of Governance; answerable to ONLY “the King” {Jesus Himself]. NOTE: This was practical, as well as a Divine mandate. Christ would soon be Crucified; Die; Rise again on the 3td. Day and then after 40 days return “to the Father.” The Incarnation; the Passion and the Resurrection and Ascension, would have been of little value if Christ had not set into place a organizational structure to insure its continuance.
Nowhere does the bible and or history give evidence of arguments about Peters Authority, I am attaching a document showing 50 “Peter First” and another on the early Church Fathers on the primacy; and a third document explaining in great detail “The Key’s” significance.
My friend; if after reviewing all of this you still think “catholics assume” the role of thr papacy; please let me know why?
God Bless you,
Pat Miron

    Convictions
What is a conviction? One person says that it is no more than a personal opinion. Others define it as those things for which you would be willing to die; all else is a preference. Some teach that convictions are based on direct scriptural teaching. Others teach that convictions are not even scriptural. Why all the confusion? What is a good biblical approach to the concept of convictions? Let us see if we can make any sense out of it all.
The word “conviction” is not found in the Bible and this is the source of much of the confusion. It is, however, related to two biblical words: convict and convince.
The word convict is only used once in the Bible where the men who accused the women of adultery were “convicted by their own conscience” (John 8:9
    ).
The word convince is used seven times (Job 32:12
    ; John 8:46
    ; Acts 18:28
    ; 1Corinthians 14:24
    ; Titus 1:9
    ; James 2:9
; Jude 15). This word (convince) is the key to understanding the other two words. One who is convicted is convinced of sin or error. In its simplest meaning, a conviction is something about which we are convinced. In most of the cases where convince is used in the Bible, it is similar to our use of the word convict. It usually deals with those who are convinced of sin.
This being the case, we need to ask, are convictions a biblical concept? I think they are—at least, in the way we commonly use the word. If we use it correctly, we use it to describe the work of our conscience in making personal decisions of right and wrong in areas not specifically detailed in scripture. A conviction is a convinced conscience.
Please note that a conviction is not needed where the Bible is specific in its command. We need only to obey in those areas. Perhaps we need to be convicted of our disobedience. But we do not need to have a conviction about it. A conviction is only needed in those areas where biblical precepts (by definition, general principles) need to be applied to particular circumstances. Does God teach us to do this? Yes. Notice the following teaching from God’s word.
We are to use our spiritual discernment to judge all things (1Corinthians 2:14-15
    ).
As to certain practices, Paul said, “Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind” (Romans 14:5
    ).
John speaks of doing those things in which our heart condemns us not (1John 3:20-21
). Evidently, there are also things in which our heart does condemn us.
We are to prove all things and hold fast to that which is good (1Thessalonians 5:21
    ).
We are to use wisdom and judgment to approve things that are excellent (Philippians 1:9-10
    ).
We are to make certain that we condemn not ourselves in the things which we allow (Romans 14:22-23
    ).
We are to use the Bible to such an extent that we are able to discern both good and evil (Hebrews 5:14
    ).
Paul exalted the use of the conscience as a guide in daily practice. He said: “And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men” (Acts 24:16
    ).
The Bible clearly teaches that the conscience is not a perfect indicator of right and wrong. It can be weak (1Corinthians 8:12
    ), defiled (Titus 1:15
) and even seared with a hot iron (1Timothy 4:20
). However, when fed a steady diet of the word and submitted to God in a pure heart, it can help to guide us in many circumstances. It can tell us that things are wrong before we know why they are wrong. It can act as an early warning system against sin. It can help us to establish personal convictions that guide us as we walk through the pitfalls of this life.
As to a conviction being something for which you will die and all else being a preference, this is a man’s definition as much as any other. It is good as far as it will carry you. Perhaps it describes some particular concepts, but I personally find it faulty. I first saw it in material dealing with legal cases where people had Christian schools or were homeschooling. These definitions made a particular point but they are weak for every use of the word.
As I said, a conviction is a convinced conscience. Some may say that all we need is the Bible and the conscience is thereby made superfluous. Yet, it is the Bible that tells us that God uses the conscience. Our convictions will not always agree because they are personal. They do not carry the authority of scripture and may be faulty. But, as we submit to God and exercise ourselves in His word, we are to keep our consciences clean by establishing convictions in our lives and by avoiding offense to our consciences. By the way, we are also to allow others to live according to their conscience without molestation—as long as their convictions do not directly oppose God’s word.

False prophets and teachers: Here come more wolves

Warning: Those rumors and false signs and wonders of Jesus’ return that He warned us about? Yes, they are indeed happening.
David E. Taylor, a Tennessee Latter Rain  preacher whose ministry is growing by leaps and bounds, took a video of a “face of God” that he saw in the clouds in Canada, and now promises his followers that they, too, can see a face-to-face appearance by Jesus Christ. He also prophesied a drug bust in Detroit which came true just hours before he appeared there to speak. That prediction made the evening news.
From his own website:
He (David E. Taylor) himself had been converted like this when Jesus first appeared to him in a dream, and talked to him when he was just a 17-year-old teenager. At that time he was a gangster in shoot-outs, living a very riotous, dangerous and worldly life-style…smoking dope, etc. So he asked the Lord to allow this to happen as a part of his ministry notably to the church but also to the World and mankind because he knew how having an experience with the Lord like this changed him.” Jesus also continued saying, “All eyes shall see and know this. They will see My Appearance and My Father’s Appearance in pictures and on live television as a result of Us working with you notably on Earth in the different regions I send you to…” This has been proven in almost every place or region the Lord has sent David E. Taylor, that in whatever city or region he has gone into, since 2006, there has been a major open Appearance of the Lord in that specific or surrounding place. Scripture also verifies this, how God worked with Moses and Jesus and made notable Appearances on Earth before people during their ministries while working with them…(Ex. 19:11)…The Lord has come down on Earth as you see in these pictures and videos.
Yes, Jesus is returning in an unexpected and dramatic way. And sure, David E. Taylor quotes real Scriptures, but he forgot this one:
Matthew 24:23-26: “At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe it. For false Christ’s and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time. So if anyone tells you, ‘There He is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here He is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.”
What is a real prophet of God? One who warns and leads you to repentance and reconciliation. One who knows that judgement is coming. Here are some characteristics of the real thing.   Know the difference. Do not be deceived.

Jesus wasn’t the only harold of false teachers or false Christs all the major prophets spoke of them too. Even Moses. We would do well to heed the warning and be willing to warn others to flee those who serve not the true Christ, the true Messiah in obedience by faith as handed down by the Apostles.
Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying , Whom shall I send , and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. 9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed . 11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
Jeremiah 5:23 But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone . 24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. 25 Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you. 26 For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait , as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. 27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich . 28 They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge. 29 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? 30 A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; 31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
Jeremiah 6:13 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. 14 They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
Dueteronomy 13:1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved . 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
1 john 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Mark those who do not hold to the Apostles Teaching or to Pauls in beleive or conduct. Any who hold not to these truths is not of God. So say the scriptures.

FACE TO FACE APPEARANCES FROM THE LORD – PART I: WHAT IS IT?

First and foremost, it’s about RELATIONSHIP, not RELIGION. There seems to be a growing concern with those who claim to know the Lord but because of their arrogance, limited knowledge, instilled beliefs and overall pride, they will speak against the fulfillment of a scriptural promise without realizing it.  As a result often leads other believers to discouragement from having a close, face to face intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and our Father, Jehovah God, through His appearances.

Just like the religious people in the New Testament, the Pharisees and the Sadducees fought because they didn’t know the scriptures or the power of God.  Jesus said people error because they don’t have knowledge of the scriptures, nor do they have an intimate manifestation of the power of God or the word. Meaning there are certain parts of His word that all of us have not yet experienced or have yet to experience.

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.” Matthew 22:29

FACE TO FACE APPEARANCES FROM THE LORD – PART II: WHAT IT’S NOT!!!

The Face To Face message concerning appearances is not contradictory, nor is it a substitute doctrine to the rapture or the return of Jesus Christ as promised by Him in scripture!

However, due to ignorance and lack of maturity in God’s Word regarding the level of intimacy that is possible by way of face to face appearances, the devil has once again deceived a small group of ignorant religious people into believing his clever “word play,”  just as he did with Eve in the Garden of Eden. He has deceived many people in the body of Christ into believing that the Face to Face message, along with notable sightings of the Lord’s face appearing openly before whole regions, is what Jesus taught us about in Matthew 24 when He said:

“Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:23-27

When read in context, these scriptures are in reference to men falsely claiming that the Lord has returned to earth as a result of the Rapture or His Second Coming. It also refers to false Christs and false prophets that would rise up in this last hour declaring that they are Jesus and proclaiming that He has already come back to the Earth to establish His Eternal Kingdom here.

This is an entirely different subject than what David Taylor is teaching on the face to face appearances, the intimate relationship that you can have with Jesus.

GOD THE FATHER, THE HUSBANDMAN, PROMISES TO COME TO EARTH IN OUR GENERATION

      “Then shall we know, [if] we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning;
and “he” shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter [and] former rain unto the end of the earth.Hosea 6:3

Like most Christians, David Taylor, had always believed Hosea 6:3 that reads “he shall come unto us as rain” for “he” to mean Jesus. Until one day he had a conversation with a 7 year old boy who had been taken to Heaven by Jesus and had a message for David, from Jesus.

Having been to Heaven himself, David asked the boy questions about what he saw there, confirming to him that he, too, had been to Heaven and seen Jesus. The boy goes on to tell David that Jesus was beside him, walking and talking throughout the visitation.

One of the places the boy had visited in Heaven that he described in full detail was the Throne Room of the Father, a place where David has also seen and visited in Heaven. David asks the young boy if he seen the Father and he replied he had not.

David then asks the young boy why the Father’s Throne Room was empty and the young boy replied, “Because He was on earth working with you. Jesus told me to give you a message. He said to tell David that I am pleased with what he preaches because he doesn’t just preach what people want to hear, he preaches what I want to hear.”

The visitation the young boy had corrected something that David had preached wrong for years. In Hosea 6:3 where it says “He shall come unto us as the latter and former rain to the earth” was not Jesus, but the Father Himself! The Father will come off His throne and come to earth in this last dispensation for the move of God!

GOD’S MAIN PURPOSE FOR ANYTHING IS TO BE FRUITFUL

God’s main purpose for anything is fruit. God, the Father is a husbandman (John 15:1) which is a tiller of the soil; a vine dresser.  Whenever He plants a seed, He expects…requires fruit in return for the effort.  The return on God’s investment in any area is fruit.  He commanded Adam, Noah and his sons even Abraham (Gen. 1:28; Gen. 9:1; Gen 28:3; Gen. 17:6) to be fruitful.  Why?  Because He invested (sowed) into them and expected an abundant return or harvest on His investment.  He has waited (had long patience) for the harvesting of the fruit that He has worked for… the lives of men.  We, as His ambassadors (branches) to the earth are chosen and ordained to bear much fruit.

“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.”
      James 5:7

“Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” John 15:8

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5

HE WILL COME TO US AS LATTER RAIN

“Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.” Hosea 6:1-3

Rain is the essential element that causes fruit to become ripe for harvesting.  God, the Father is coming back to receive (or reap) His return (or harvest) on “the seed” He sowed in the earth.  The seed was Jesus.  Jesus was sown (born, crucified, buried and resurrected) in the earth to reap the fruitful harvest of men’s souls.  The Father planted Him for the purpose of reaping a return.  Now we, who were once fruit, have since been planted and become a branch that will produce fruit.  However, in order for a bountiful harvest the husbandman (the Father) must clean us and prepare (prune; purge) us.

“Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” John 15:2

The Father is on earth now to judge the church and dress the branches. He is here to prune and clean us, so that we will produce the fruit that He wants.  He will inspect and partake of the fruit, first to make sure it is ripe and ready for the harvesting.  The Father, just like any farmer, is the first one who knows, by inspection, the condition of the fruit. He is the first partaker of the fruit.

“The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.” 2 Timothy 2:6

      SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

The Father must come on earth before the final and ultimate return of Jesus for the church, which we term the “rapture.”  Did you catch that?  THE FATHER HAS COME TO EARTH NOW, IN OUR GENERATION!!! He has come to the earth for a three-fold purpose.  That is to fellowship with man, to work on behalf of man, and lastly, to co-labor with His servants.

GOD APPEARS AS A CLOUDY PILLAR TO MOSES

Moses was a normal man like us, yet he possessed something that no other man in the Bible had, except for Jesus, and that was closeness with Jehovah in which they were able to speak to the Lord face to face on a regular basis and also arrange for others to meet with the Lord face to face.

In Exodus chapter 19, God the Father openly came down on earth in a cloud form in the eyesight of mankind, even millions in Moses’ life and ministry. The scripture states that the Lord told him:

“And the lord said unto Moses, “LO, I COME UNTO THEE IN A THICK CLOUD” that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee forever, And the Lord said to Moses, “Be ready against the third day: for the third day THE LORD WILL COME DOWN “IN THE SIGHT” OF ALL THE PEOPLE upon Mount Sinai.”
      Exodus 19:9,11

“And all the people saw the cloudy pillar.” Exodus 33:10

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A FACE TO FACE MESSENGER WHO CAN ARRANGE MEETINGS BETWEEN GOD AND HIS PEOPLE, AND A FALSE PROPHET WHO MAKES UP DATES ABOUT THE LORD’S SECOND COMING

When I declare that the Lord Jesus and His Father are both on earth and that they are going to appear to you personally and before the world I am not saying that Jesus has already come back for the Millennial Reign or that the Rapture has already taken place. I am a firm believer in the Rapture and that it has yet to happen. These appearances that have been taking place everywhere the Lord has sent me to, is to reconcile and regain intimacy with His people.  I also want to make clear that I am not a date setter of the Rapture, like many of these false prophets have done and failed every time. Jesus said that only The Father knows when that day will be.

“But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only”. Matthew 24:36

I would like to point out as well that with a special face to face messenger, God can and will give specific dates that He will come down so that He can meet with His people, and also set apart that messenger’s rank from just a regular Prophet or Apostle and this is scriptural. Yet, this is still not the rapture.

This is also the ministry that Jesus had while on earth. Scripture states that God came down in Jesus’ ministry and spoke openly out of the cloud.  The Apostle Peter also confirms this in scripture:

“For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.” 2 Peter 1:16-18

        Please read…
DISPELLING THE LIES THEY TOLD YOU ABOUT FACE TO FACE APPEARANCES WITH THE LORD

OBJECTIVE: To dispel the ignorance and lies some religious folks, unbelievers and other naysayers have formed due to limited beliefs, lack of revelation, knowledge and understanding of the Word of God concerning the beautiful, ancient manifestation of the Lord’s open appearances before millions of people, while the truth is that this is actually the fulfillment of scripture through covenants that were made with our Jewish forefathers: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Elijah and later ultimately restored by Jesus Christ Himself over 2000 years ago.

“That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” Ephesians 2:12-13

THE BIGGEST LIE: NO MAN CAN SEE GOD AND LIVE!
                          THE TRUTH OF EXODUS 33:20

QUESTION:   The Bible says that  “No man can see Me and live”,  so how can Face to Face visitations be possible?

ANSWER: In Exodus 33:20, Moses wanted to enjoy this same privilege with God by seeing Him in His glory face to face when God responded by saying, “No man can see Me and live”.  Unfortunately, many people don’t have any revelation or understanding of the fellowship we enjoyed with God in the beginning and get stuck on this scripture as the “end all, be all” that no one can see Him and live.

The reason God told Moses he couldn’t see Him and live is because of the fall, the sin of Adam and Eve. As a result, we have all been born in sin and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). God only spoke to Moses about dying because of sin, but from the beginning it was not so.  We were created to live forever in His image, in a sinless body with a sinless nature.  If Moses in his sinful nature (not having yet been redeemed by the blood of Jesus in the New Testament) were to see God’s face, the result would be death.

BOLD-FACED LIES, UNSUBSTANTIATED MYTHS, IGNORANT STATEMENTS, FALSIFIED BELIEFS, INVALID JUDGEMENTS, UNINFORMED OPINIONS AND OTHER FOOLISH RESPONSES MADE BY RELIGIOUS PEOPLE:
        • THAT’S NOT GOD… VISITATIONS ARE OF SATAN, THEY’RE DEMONIC
        • ANYONE WHO CAN SEE A SPIRIT IS FULL OF DEVILS, STAY AWAY FROM DEMONIC DOCTRINES
        • I’VE BEEN A CHRISTIAN FOR YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A VISITATION FROM JESUS
        • GOD ONLY DID THAT IN BIBLICAL TIMES, HE DOESN’T DO THAT NOWADAYS
        • PEOPLE CAN’T SEE GOD
        • GOD IS NOT THAT PERSONAL

Religion and Religious people will try to fool you into thinking that this message and these appearances are not from God. It’s important to recognize that many people, although they claim to be Christian, simply don’t have enough faith to believe something they’ve never encountered, witnessed or experienced in their life first-hand.  If someone you tell your experience to falls into this category, it’s pretty safe to say, they will have no problem telling you that you’re delusional and try to discourage your faith.

Having faith requires you to believe in the unseen, so just because people you may ask about these types of visitations have never had them, doesn’t make it any less true. Remember it was religious people who killed Jesus and did not believe He was the Son of God.  It’s that same type of religious spirit that will try to attack your faith and kill Jesus again in your heart and mind from receiving these visitations and keep you from having an intimate face to face relationship with Jesus Christ.

There’s a growing concern with those who claim to know the Lord, but because they are arrogant, their pride causes them to speak against something this wonderful, out of their lack of knowledge of the fulfillment of a scriptural promise. They don’t understand this to begin with, and therefore discourage the heart of other believers from having this close, face to face intimacy with Jesus Christ and our Father, Jehovah God, through appearances.
Before you hastily judge, I ask that you sit down for a moment and read the understanding and the revelation of the Word of God that the Lord has not only revealed to me, but to millions of other saints around the world. I don’t want you to come up short and miss the move that God is trying to introduce to our generation, like the religious people did in Jesus’ day. The Pharisees and Sadducees fought because they didn’t know the scriptures, or the power of God.
“That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” Ephesians 2:12:13

Jesus said these type of people error because they don’t have a combination of knowing the scriptures with an intimate experimental manifestation of the power of them. This means that they may read the word of God, but they never experience the manifestation of an intimate knowledge in certain areas of that part of God’s word.
Not to say that they never experience the manifestation and power of God’s word in certain areas, only that there are certain parts of His word that all of us have not experienced.
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.” Matthew 22:29
Therefore, He has raised different men and women up, whom He has allowed to experience and demonstrate these different aspects of His word to our generation, mainly because of the relationship that He has with them. We should all be pursuing and experiencing more of the Lord, and constantly growing in our Christian walk, not letting religion cause us to become stagnate, cold and dead, toward the Living God.
The God we serve is ALIVE, not dead. Because He is alive, He desires to be in relationship with us!!! Now then, the question is: Where is He? What is He saying? What is He doing presently, in this 21st Century? It takes men and women who are spiritually and divinely connected to Him to manifest His living and present movements, and not just to expound, according to Scripture, on where He was and what He did in the past.
On the contrary, these new end-time men and women of God possess a revelation of His present movement in our day, because of, not only their desire to be close to Him, but His desire to be close to us. In all humility David E. Taylor has been so privileged and graced by the Lord Jesus Christ, to experience in his personal life a continual face to face appearance relationship with Him in this 21st Century, and now the open and notable appearances of the Lord Jesus and His Father, before whole regions, blessing mankind and appearing openly, which was manifested in Jesus’ ministry, and the prophets of old in the Old Testament such as, Moses.

It is a shame so many christians don’t understand the distinction between the scriptures that relate to natural Israel and their covenant relationship with YHWH, from those that relate to the new testament church. How eager we can be to lift the promises out of the pages of holy writ, to forget or ignore context and to appropriate what we choose, when we choose. We are part of the new covenant in CHRIST, grafted into the olive tree, but we are not literal Israel, and the promises to a literal Israel do not belong to us – we are not promised a literal land, our home is in heaven and we are pilgrimming, we are not a nation as Israel is before GOD, we are the bride and body of CHRIST. GOD is not finished with natural Israel, HE is still dealing with her and will continue to do so until they return to HIM and recognise YESHUA is their MESSIAH, and welcome HIM saying ‘blessed is HE Who comes in the Name of The LORD’. If we would take the blessings then we must take the curses for violating HIS law – but we know we are not under law but grace. Hosea, exquisite book that it is, is YHWH’s message to rebellious Israel, we are mentioned (call a people who were not My people, MY people…), but the message is to Israel, that one day HE would return them to their promised land (after chastening them grievously), and that promise was fulfilled in 1948, that HE would call out the remnant and restore them, changing their hard, obstinate hearts – awaiting fulfilment still. We need to interpret scripture with scripture, rightly dividing the Word of Truth – that was where the pharisees fell down – they read and saw only what they wanted to see – Conquering KING, not suffering SERVANT. They studied with blinkers, selectively choosing, accepting and rejecting – taking out what they wanted to find from scripture.
Being open without discernment and ‘judging’ (Judge with righteous judgment – not passing sentence but weighing and measuring), is not spiritual, humble or ‘un-pharisaic’ – (remember – the sin of the pharisees was hypocrisy) it is unloving of the truth, uncaring of the vulnerable, and it does not keep the wolves out of the flock. We should search our hearts and speak the truth in love, caring for one another that we may all grow in the grace and knowledge of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

My problem is this. He says that the Holy Spirit is not needed after you mature in the Lord. Now you can get revelation from Christ and even the Father, jehovah Himself but all three are ONE GOD!!! Scripture says that I am in the Father and the Father in in me. And in revelation there was ONE sitting on the throne and hE is the Alpha and the Omega, The Christ, The Creator of ALL things. So, I have a problem when someone says that. ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD DWELLS WITHIN CHRIST JESUS.. And the Spirit of truth will lead and guide you into all truth. I have a problem when ppl start to twist scripture.

One thing we should NOT do is throw the baby out with the bathwater. There ARE true prophets of God. They usually do not travel in circuits and they do not use high pressure tactics for ungodly gain. IN FACT THEY FROWN ON IT. Elisha refused money from Naaman for helping him. AND he condemned those who did take it. He did not use gimmicks to dislodge those in need from their money, he obeyed God and God took care of him.

There appears to be a growing concern with those who claim to know the Lord, but because they are arrogant, their pride causes them to speak against something this wonderful, out of their lack of knowledge of the fulfillment of a scriptural promise.

    Who’s throwing out the baby?
I’m OK with prophets who profess the Cross, that is the crucifixion, death and resurrection of God’s only begotten Son. Whom God the Father sent here for the sole purpose of redeeming of a hopelessly sinful people through reconciliation by His own blood taking our due punishment for us.
Where if this did not happen there would have been no chance of redemption whatsoever and eternity in hell in eternal torment in fire and consuming worms would have been the fate of all. A place so terrible you would not wish this on anyone, no one.
But rather God’s elect by God’s grace are justified freely by faith in Jesus Christ the Messiah the Savior that any who should believe in Him would not perish but have eternal life. That such a faith is evident by repentance leading to a changed heart towards God, His chosen people and His Word and a recognition of their own grave depravity. Such a one would hold to the Apostles doctrine of self sacrificing Love, Holiness in God alone, that Righteousness and Love towards God is proved in Obedience by faith. The would love the cross. Such a one would be teaching discipleing others to do the same, if by no other means than their own actions. Not fearing to Baptize any in the Name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit.
New doctrines that contradict scriptures as recorded in the Old and New Testament they would expose as heresy and apostasy and continue as long as they persisted to stand against them.
Personally any self proclaimed one I would not accept such a one is puffing up himself or herself. Test the Spirits.

Thomas, what do the Scriptures say? Is he speaking as the world speaks, is he seeking after the things of this earth? Is he going against the doctrine of the apostles of the New Testiment? If any of these is yes what do you think the answer is.
It is unfortunate that in our own fellowships we are all guilty of not following after God for what He tells us to do when we gather we do not do.
It is unfortunate that even in our own hearts we deny the Christ and decieve ourselves when we walk in disobedience.
    God help us all!!!
May we see our true selves and not be decieved any longer.
Wretched people we are. Corrupt people we are.
James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9 Be afflicted , and mourn , and weep : let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

      Hi Dan,
Thanks for your reply. I have been researching David E.Taylor for quite sometime. I have also asked God to lead me and guide me and give me discernment and wisdom. It seems that he doespreach the Cross and that Jesus died for our sins and He is alive. David Taylor is in Atlanta today and tomorrow. I am in Louisiana, I asked God in prayer whether or not I should attend. I did nothave the money to travel to Atlanta and then out of the blue without asking a soul for money I receive a lump sum of money yesterday. I am a Christian, I true love Jesus. What are you thoughts about my prayer to God about attending and asking God if I should go make a way?

      Hi Ann,
Here is something to look at, God is always doing something fresh and new in our lives and in the Lord’s Body throughout the earth. The Lord is always ahead of anything that Satan does. The devil himself doesn’t create anything but only perverts what God is doing or has already done. With that being said think about this, the Lord used men such as Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, David E. Taylor and others to bless His people, but sooner or later you have these so-called and self proclaimed “exposers of false prophets” who begin to speak evil of God’s men who are proven by the Lord and even in your own personal life then, all of a sudden you get confused and begin to question what you already know to be true. This is an old trick from the devil, the same one that he used on Eve in the garden. He caused her to question what she already knew God had spoken. Be watchful of groups like this one that Amy is a part of because they are arrogant and causes God’s people to stumble and they bring a demon of confusion with them to dismantle you from trusting whom the Lord has sent. Love you Ann

Ann, I like your name. And a resounding YES! Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland are herectics. I have studied their teachings extensively and they are two of the very worst kind. Please test everything they say with your Holy Scriptures and ask God, the Holy Spirit to help reveal the truth to you.
Examine their lives…..are they truly living a life that is in obedience to our LORD. Your findings may surprise you.

    I would not presume anything.
Lord you alone know where these folks are at, I do not. If we do not have your word, what do we have? Father, Son, Holy Spirit I pray you will reveal to us all where we are placing our faith, our trust, our hope, whether it is in you or in man. If it is in mankind I pray you grant us repentance onto salvation.
Lord you have warned us throughout the bible of men in the last days that many will not hold to sound doctrine. But with honeyed words will deceive the simple. You warn us that your people will prefer it rather than accept the truth as you do in Jeremiah.
Jeremiah 5:30 A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; 31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
I pray Lord turn our hearts back to you, we have done wickedly, we have not sought your face.
    This people is us.
15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
You Lord are just to hand us over to destruction for each us us has went our own way.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable ; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: 14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: 15 Their feet are swift to shed blood: 16 Destruction and misery are in their ways: 17 And the way of peace have they not known: 18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Jeremiah 6:19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen , being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
You have brought out your terrors though I fear just the beginning of them.
Thanks be to God for the Gospel
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
In this faith we have fellowship with you Lord God and other believers who hold to your truth in that they do it. We know for certain this faith didn’t come from within us but by your Holy Spirit with whom we are sealed. You didn’t leave us as orphans. It is by this same Spirit you cause us both to know and do your good perfect and pleasing will.
Help us Lord to discern the true leading of your Holy Spirit versus our flesh, help us to follow after the Spirit of Truth. Keep us in obedience to your word please Holy Spirit renew our minds.
We know we deny you Lord God when we don’t obey your commands. Please Lord keep us from being double minded. I pray you may grant us the will to cling to Your Cross and follow Your example. May You allow that be willing to lay down our very lives for one another as you have laid down your life for us.
1 John 1:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come , even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. 26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
We acknowledge your gifting of us as it has pleased you for the purpose of bringing all into obedience by faith in Jesus Christ.
KJV Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness , whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Ephesians 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil.
Ephesians 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth . 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers . 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another , tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest , enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come . Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Father, may we do your will in obedience to your word.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away , and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Not for our sakes O Lord but that you be glorified in us and through us. May you name be exalted.
God help us. Amen! Lord Jesus come.

  10. I believe he is not only a false prophet, but demonic. I encourage you to go to his website, http://www.joshuamediaministries.org and read what he says and claims about Jesus. Then compare it to Scripture:
Matthew 24:23-26: “At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe it. For false Christ’s and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time. So if anyone tells you, ‘There He is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here He is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.”
When Jesus returns, we will all know it. He won’t just appear to those who’ve purchased an admission ticket to a ministry event. False teachers and prophets set themselves in place of Jesus. They speak of the great anointing that they have.
They tell us that God is going to be doing great things at their next meeting or there will be a great anointing at their next crusade so you MUST make plans to BE THERE.
Here’s what “Jesus” said to Taylor about his book (he has authored several–all for purchase on Amazon:
“During a visitation, Jesus promised me that He would draw closer to everyone who picks up this book and reads it. While you are reading this book and by the time you complete it, you will have already developed in your spirit, not only a greater hunger, but you will gain the relationship you so much desire with Him, as well, even beyond your wildest imagination of what you could have with Him. Learn like thousands of others how you can experience a face to face relationship with Jesus. One in which He appears to you not only once, but on a regular basis. The Lord also promised me saying, “Those who read this book will begin to have visitations and appearances from Me personally, David.” Jesus promised me that what he has already made happen in my life will begin to fall on you, but even greater.”
Oh really? Jesus would point people to read this guy’s book rather than the Holy Word of God Himself?

      Dear Amy,
My spirit is grieved and my heart is saddened when I read your comments. I too, use to have a religious spirit, I lived by the law and, by doing so, missed out on a TRUE intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Apostle Taylor has NEVER asked anyone to read a book over the word of God. This book is not just for believers, there are many people that will never grace the door of a church. Many will not go to church FOR this very reason, the lack of unity and division that is seen by the world. It’s a joke to them how we as believers attack one another. It is sad to see that the “Church” has been guilty of bruising and destroying their own with evil words and judgments that we pass on each other. This is the VERY thing that I told the Lord I couldn’t do anymore, Through Apostle Taylor ministry, I have seen, through the word of God, that Jesus Christ is alive and well. He’s not on the cross he’s not WAY up in HEAVEN. He’s appearing to men and women daily. I too was a Thomas, and through the word of God, and YES Amy, through Apostle Taylor’s book. Jesus appeared to me right in my bedroom and my life has never been the same. That spirit of religion that was going to take me to HELL was broke off my life. The scales were removed and Jesus has continued to appear to me. I’m sad that you are missing out on this beautiful relationship with Jesus. That’s what it’s all about a RELATIONSHIP not reading the bible in past tense, but it’s a live and EVERY word, EVERY promise my dear sister is for TODAY, for you, for me, for generations to come. The other thing I would caution anyone reading this, BE VERY careful putting your mouth on ANY man of GOD. The scriptures warns us about this!

Amy, i just want to warn you and i would greatly listen. You really need to pray and honestly seek Jesus right now. David is a true man of God. Jesus himself called him friend and i would be very carefull. Or you will find yourself fighting against Jesus himself. All the warnings on this page i believe is from God telling you you are wrong about this man. You need to seek God in prayer and do not stop until you get your answer from Jesus. Becareful not to find yourself fighting against Jesus. Jesus always wins. You will lose! you need to seek Jesus. He will show you the truth.
David is big on the word. Everything he does he looks it up and test it with the Word of God.
David is an example of what can happen when one gives themselves completely to the Lord. David is not demonic he is just filled with the Holy Spirit.
God is moving greatly in America right now. A move to bring people into a face to face relationship with Jesus. Who great is that! You do not want to miss it. And He has chosen David to be his choice instrument.

The Holy Spirit, whom you say fills this man, never exalts Himself yet that is what this man does. You are right God is moving greatly and so is the enemy. One way is pure and undefiled and the other is bent on self promotion. Yet you figure the one bent on self promotion is of God.
A person who is big on the word will do it. He would himself be broken before our God and Lord who is Christ. He would know He is nothing. This man he thinks himself great, he tells others he is great. His followers exhalt his word over the word that is living and active.
But I’m am not speaking of just David here. Where is a pastor who is feeding the sheep from the whole counsel of God. It would seem that All pick and choose that which they will accept and pass on. And the least accepted of all the scriptures deal with the conduct of the Church when it is gathered. Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12-14, Ephesians 4-6.

Any time someone points to themselves rather than God and His word it is a major red flag for me. I really don’t want to hear anything else they have to say. If I have to go ‘through’ them to reach Christ it isn’t Christ they are serving. They are serving themselves. Thank you Amy for including that part about his book. It made my stomach hurt just reading it.

He preached Jesus and preached Jesus crucified. He preached against homosexuality. Doesn’t Jesus say in the Bible that will manifest Himself to us? I don’t think he’s false, Jesus appeared to the apostles, mary mag & 500 others. God appeared as a burning bush. Who manifested Themselves to Paul on the way to demascus?

    • Hi Thomas, it is true he preaches against homosexuality. That does not mean that he or she is a true prophet. In fact many will come in His name who are not of Him. We have the Holy Spirit with us. There was a time when the 500, the apostles and Paul did not yet have the Spirit. Did Jesus appear face to face with Paul in Acts and beyond?

        Amy,
Your same philosophy and reasoning applies to you. Just because you preach against false prophets and those who say they come in the Lord’s name but aren’t truly sent by Him, clearly doesn’t mean that you yourself aren’t one of those people! Jesus first appeared to Paul on the Road to Damascus,
        Acts 26:15–16
“And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But arise, and stand upon thy feet: for to this end have I APPEARED UNTO THEE, to appoint thee a minister and a witness both of the things wherein THOU HAST SEEN ME, and of the things wherein I WILL APPEAR UNTO THEE;”
Jesus Himself clearly stated that He not only appeared to Paul on the Road to Damascus but that He will APPEAR to him concerning the call on his life. By the way, this is well after Jesus ascended into Heaven and AFTER the Holy Spirit was poured out. Amy, before you can become a teacher you must first submit and be taught or you will find yourself in danger of hell fire for teaching error and discouraging God’s people from being as close to Him as they possibly can!!

    “Then shall we know, [if] we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning;
and “he” shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter [and] former rain unto the end of the earth.Hosea 6:3

  14. Ms Garcia, I thank you for your thoughtful reply. I am more concerned than ever about the level of deception this man is spreading. I do not know if he is purposely doing this, or if he himself is deceived, but I am hoping it is the latter.
The Latter Rain movement that David is a leader of is dangerous from what we are hearing. Every watchman organization that I know of says Word of Faith movements like this are unbiblical. People are being spiritually and financially abused all over the world in this growing movement, and I also have come to believe it is part of the great deception we are seeing in these last days. Please read more here: http://bit.ly/rZqyBX.
I’d like to ask you about two things from your note. The first is the little 7-year-old boy who dreamed he went to heaven (where David claims he also went) and saw the empty throne room of God. David then asks the young boy why the Father’s Throne Room was empty and the young boy replied, “Because He was on earth working with you.”
Ms. Garcia, would the God of the universe ever leave heaven empty to hang out with one stadium-style preacher/book author who charges people money to experience apparitions ?
    The second thing is,
“The visitation the young boy had corrected something that David had preached wrong for years. In Hosea 6:3 where it says “He shall come unto us as the latter and former rain to the earth” was not Jesus, but the Father Himself! The Father will come off His throne and come to earth in this last dispensation for the move of God!”
    Ms Garcia, Jesus IS God.
God does indeed speak to us in these days. We can experience Him daily. His Holy Spirit lives inside everyone who loves Him and abides in Him, Jesus Christ, our Savior.

I am very much in agreement that Jesus said that He IS THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA HEAR OH ISRAEL THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE. Zechariah says that and the name of the Lord will be one. There is one on the throne. Jesus was the Father in Creation the son in redemption and the Holy Spirit in regeneration. They keep saying they are two but the word of God says Phillip I have been with you this long and you do not know me? I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Jesus is in the bosom of the Father. Why are people separarting Him. My beautiful Savior please keep us from lies. Help us not to believe them. Help us not to be deceived and love the truth. Yes Paul said Praise be to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ because while He was here He was the Son. Yes He is wisdom. Now I cant understand it but I know that Jesus said He and the Father are ONE!!!!

Amy, I’ve read everyone’s responses here and I think you’ve clearly articulated some of the reasons for calling David E. Taylor a false prophet and a wolf in sheep’s clothing:
    1) Scripture warns of last days claims of Christ’s appearing (Matt 24), some of which will have demonic origins
    2) His fruit (“by their fruit you will know them”) of using his false “gospel” for financial gain (1 Timothy 6:5).
    Unfortunately, there are many who have been and continue to be deceived, which has also been foretold by scripture as a sign of the last days. We can only pray for them and follow 2 Timothy 2:25-26: “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
Jesus said, “Let no man deceive you…” We can do this by continuously “renewing our minds” with scripture, edifying & correcting each other (lovingly!) and sitting under godly teachers – I recommend John Macarthur and Erwin Lutzer (not false teachers like Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland et al)- while always comparing their teaching with scripture.
Let’s all endeavour to be humble and teachable as we interact with our fellow believers; none of us alone has a monopoly on the truth.

    • Dave, thanks for the reminder to be humble and teachable. I take it to heart knowing that at any time I am capable of the opposite. If I have been that way here, I welcome rebuke and correction. Jesus alone is Truth, and we can only seek and point brothers and sisters to Him.

At Amy and Dave, I clearly see after this very laid out simple, understandable & plain teaching from David E Taylor proven in scriptures what God is doing in the body of Christ through Face to Face appearances, that even after this, you raise levels of concern and suspicion is actually deception in itself!
Amy, you hold yourself as a teacher to be watchful of the false “prophets,” preachers and ministers. This is no diffierent than the Pharisees & Sadducees who treated Gods prophets of old and Jesus, Himself, the same way when He walked the earth manifesting signs and wonders.
“O Jerusalem,O Jerusalem, which killest the prophets and stonest them that are sent unto thee;how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!” Luke 13:34
“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” Matthew 5:11-12
People who are in the sect and groups like you, show or exemplify little or any faith and belief in the supernatural power of God anymore and your use of the scriptures where Jesus spoke negatively about false prophets and sighs & wonders to validate your decption. You are unblanced and this is an abomination before the Lord as Proverbs declares. There is hardly no mention from you or your group of the real men and women of God as prophets, whom God is using in a supernatural and powerful way.
Furthermore, there is very little acknowledgement from you that the very person you claim to love, Jesus, also spoke well of other prophets that God used, who walked in signs & wonders as well. While Jesus not only was the herold of teaching of awareness of false prophets, He also taught the honor we shold have for them, in whcih you have mastered little or none at all concerning. In one breath, Jesus says beware of false prophets and in another He said to give a prophet a glass of water in My name, he shall not lose his reward. He taught on both the danger of false prophets but also the judgements that happen to those who don’t honor the real ones He sends.
The same Jesus also walked in signs and wonders Himself and trained other apostles & prophets to do the same. Jesus is the same today, yesterday and forevermore and He’s sitll raising up prophets to do the same, of which David E. Taylor is one of them. You had better be careful of what you are calling what David E. Taylor is walking in as “demonic” because Jesus Himself stated in Matthew 12:24-32 that the Pharisees & Sadducees did the same in His day by calling him a “prince of devils” by the works He was doing by casting out devils. Whatever you contribute or call the work that the Holy Spirit is doing through a man of God and label it as being demonic, Jesus said this action is called Blashphemy of the Holy Spirit in which you will never be forgiven in this world or the world to come.
Jesus also stated in another context that “he that is not against us is for us,” when the disciples saw another man casting out devils and performing miracles in Jesus name. This was His response to them:
“And John answered him saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us; and we forbad him because he followeth not us. But Jesus said, “Forbid him not, fo there is no man which shall do a miracle in thy name that can lightly speak evil of me. For he that is not against us is on our part.” Mark 9:38-40
David E. Taylor is casting out regioinal demons, there are whole regions being delivered from drugs and being changed and peoples lives are being saved. How could you be so wicked and speak evil of such a beautiful thing God is doing???
The whole point here is about character and fruit, the “fruit” of David E. Taylors ministry.
1). He teaches the cross of Jesus Christ, that God sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins.
2). He teaches the resurrection of Jesus Christ of which “face ot face appearances” falls under.
3). He preaches about heaven and hell.
4). He preaches the word of God (th Holy Bible) which he considers to be the final authority of God over all mankind and creation.
5). He lives and preaches about the love of God, walking in mercy, not being judgemental, not being condemning with people, of which you are doing that is being cloaked in your so called “spiritual discernment” out of your zeal and lack of knowledge of the things of God and to expose what you would call “false prophets.”
6). He teaches about the fruit of the spirit, the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
7). He believes in the God-head, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit that they have one Lordship but are three different persons.
8). He teaches that Jesus is coming back on the cloud in the rapture one day as He promised.
9). He teaches on the holiness of God.
10). He is allowing God to use him to help 100′s of thousands of people come to the Lord Jesus and give their lives to Him through salvation, through healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out devils in peoples lives who are bound by drugs, homosexuality, lesbianism, witchcraft, of religious spirtis like the Pharisees had, of which you have as well, by feeding the poor, the multitudes, giving to people who are less fortunate, he’s personally given away millions of dollars of his own money to reach people for Christ…and this isn’t HALF of the fruit I’ve seen in his ministry!
For you to post this blog and speak against a reputable man of God who has sacrificed and served the Lord for over 20 years whom you haven’t even had a chance to know, and come with a “quick get rich attitude” of accusation by only seeing the outward signs of his ministry, really shows how disrespectful and dishonorable you are! Religious people in the Bible persecuted Gods’s prophets and even Jesus Himself with the attitude that Jesus mentioned in Matthew that they thought they were doing God a service.
“They shall put you out of the synagogues; yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.” John 16:2-3.
This is the same way you feel, but be warned that if the Lord is truly with David E. Taylor, you and others will be found fighting against God…AND YOU WILL LOSE!!!

DISPELLING THE LIES THEY TOLD YOU ABOUT FACE TO FACE APPEARANCES WITH THE LORD, CON’T…

There is a growing concern with those who claim to know the Lord, but because they are arrogant, their pride causes them to speak against something this wonderful, out of their lack of knowledge of the fulfillment of a scriptural promise.

Therefore, He has raised different men and women up, whom He has allowed to experience and demonstrate these different aspects of His word to our generation, mainly because of the relationship that He has with them. We should all be pursuing and experiencing more of the Lord, and constantly growing in our Christian walk, not letting religion cause us to become stagnant, cold and dead, toward the Living God.
In all humility, David E.
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.” Matthew 22:29

  17. Hi Ms Garcia. Thanks for writing.
I looked again at David E Taylor’s testimony, website and his own words. Then I compared them to Scripture. That is all any of us can do to determine whether any man or woman is indeed a true or a false prophet. He is probably a nice, humble-sounding man, but I don’t believe him to be a true prophet of Jesus Christ. I stand by my original statements, not because I am blind, ignorant or arrogant or a Pharisee, as you have suggested, but because I see that he is preaching a Jesus that does not exist in the Holy Word of God.

This ministry that the Lord has entrusted to Mr. Taylor is that of scripture and truth! Why? Because it does what it’s supposed to do and that is to draw you closer to Jesus Christ in a way like never before. The revelations hes been given based on the Holy scriptures have impacted my family and friends. Everyone who has opened their hearts has become so hungry for intimacy with the Lord.
A real false prophet could not bear the right fruit. You can see the tree and tell that. So far this tree has bore some pretty good fruits in my life!! I am a living witness and so is my friend who was deep in skepticism until she was healed in the services because the Glory was ever present. The fruit is, shes chasing after JESUS not David Taylor like never before! I believe Dave is the real deal messenger for the end times! Everyone is so busy looking for whats wrong..hes still a man and i’m sure some of his words hit the ground for the simple fact that he has flesh and HES NOT JESUS. BUT, I am 100 percent sure this man is doing what THUS SAITH THE LORD!

The most important thing we can do is follow Jesus Christ. Not any one man or woman. Quite honestly whenever I hear someone defending someone (a human being) so incessantly, red flags raise up for me. What if we were all to defend the Gospel of Jesus Christ rather than people we like or look up to or even think are doing a wonderful work of God?
The truth is that the Bible warns us of false teachers and false prophets. The Scripture isn’t warning us about these folks because they are easy to spot…..No, we’re being warned because they are DIFFICULT (almost impossible) to spot. They look like the real deal. They perform signs and wonders….even healings. If you don’t think healings can be from Satan, then check out Johanna Michaelson’s story in her book “The Beautiful Side of Evil”. “Miraculous” healings were taking place….BUT they didn’t last and they were not from God.
Can false teachers/prophets stand for good things? Yes, I believe they can. But don’t be deceived by the “good” you see. Be discerning. If you don’t have discernment…you are going to be in serious trouble.

      WORD!
You must have discernment & more than anything, know what the WORD says!….. I like this scripture God has given us to go by…to sift out wolves and snakes trying to pevert his precious gospel!!! Alellujah!
Deut. 13:1 If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, 2 and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” 3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer.

        M. Guinn, you have said it well… Absolutely, it’s the FRUIT, we are looking for. The people on this stream are so quick to point FAULT in the ministry of David E. Taylor rather than look at the FRUIT of his ministry.
There are so many thousands of great & miraculous testimonies out there that can attest to David E. Taylor’s ministry being the real deal, including that of your personal family and friends, many are posted on his website.
David E. Taylor is not some newbie to the pulpit, in fact, he has been in ministry over 20 years. His primary message and teachings are on the INTIMACY, the RELATIONSHIP, not religion, the INTIMATE FACE TO FACE relationship that Jesus wants to have with us.
If you believe that Jesus has risen from the dead, than believing that this type of intimate relationship is possible for you and for me, should be a no brainer. Simply put if you want to have this type of relationship with Jesus, He wants that with you, too, and David E. Taylor is merely the messanger on how to attain this deeper walk with Him. So as Jenny Newhouse had mentioned, we are not worshipping a man, but merely wanting that type of relationship with Jesus, too.
I make it a point to NOT judge a person or their ministry without experiencing or coming into contact with that ministry first hand. I think for people to truly understand what he’s teaching, you would have to witness & experience one of his services first hand and/or read his book Face to Face Appearances from Jesus for yourself.
Could it be that the naysayers and faultfinders, like those on this blog, are entirely wrong about what we’ve been taught and so conditioned to think only “inside the box”??? Absolutely!!!
If you look only for the negative, surely you will find it. If you look for the positive, surely you will find that, too.
I sincerely CHALLENGE those strongly opposed to keep an open mind and get to one of his services or at least get a copy of his book before passing judgement on his ministry based upon your religious beliefs, as well as that of the others looking for fault. It will truly deepen your relationship with Him! I don’t know about you, but that”s what I truly want! More of Him and less of me!

Seeking after Christ involves total surrender to Him alone. Total obedience to Him alone. Obedience and surrender even when we don’t feel like it. The seemingly small acts of obedience that no one knows about expect you and Him are what He desires.
How many people have made the experiences their god? How many want those “rushes” so bad that they’ve forgotten Who they are seeking after?
Don’t get me wrong, I am certainly not opposed to the Lord moving in mighty ways, but again…we must be able to discern truth from counterfeit. Matt 7:21-23 21 Not everyone who says to Me, “Lord, Lord,” shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?” And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.”

Jenny, I agree in that seeking Him is most important.
We should always exercise discernment… in all you get, get understanding.
In this case, my suggestion is to get to a service of his & get a hold of his book. We should never judge a book by its cover. Many Christians tend to get so caught up in a person in ministry & how they think they should act, or preach, sound, worship, etc…that we miss the message!
We also should be careful to not worry so much about other peoples walk & focus more on our our own walk, and how to have such a deep intimacy with Him that He allows us to see Him “face to face”…So yes, seek Him first!

    John 14:23
“Jesus answered and said unto him , If a man love me , he will keep my words : and my Father will love him , and we will come unto him , and make our abode with him .” The word “come” in Greek means of persons 1.to come from one place to another, and used both of persons arriving 2.to appear, make one’s appearance, come before the public. In this scripture alone speaks for itself in defending David E. Taylor as God’s promise to him and people to have a face to face relationship with Jesus. This relationship is solely from intimacy with Jesus and developed through the love that David E. Taylor has for Jesus. There is a comment that was made that he appears humble, no he IS humble! There are countless testimonies of how Jesus promise to David E. Taylor has been confirmed through millions of people, even skeptics at first! Before you become so quick in judging someone who proclaims their relationship with Jesus so intimately, ask Jesus to show you who David E. Taylor is! I pray that all the opposers will really ask God for wisdom about men and women of God that seem to be uniquely different before you call them false prophets. I believe that the Lord will answer your prayers if you ask with a genuine and sincere heart.

This message is to ALL those who have spoken evil concerning David E. Taylor and especially to those who have set out to create this blog spewing out accusations of him being a false prophet. You have know clue what you are doing!!! You are letting your father the devil use you, for he is the accuser of the brethren and this is what you are doing. This is not of God!!! There is no God in this!!! It is satanic and devilish. It is evil.
David E. Taylor’s main message to the world is a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus. He brings the person of Jesus Christ to every sinner and the religious believer (such as yourself) who believes all Jesus does is sit on the throne. He shows them that Jesus is alive and He desires a personal and intimate relationship with them. This man of God stands on the authority of God’s word.
It is very clear and apparent that he loves Jesus and is committed to the call and ministry that God has on his life. For you to just read a few articles and go to the web site with the wrong heart and spirit looking for something wrong only shows us what’s in your heart and that you don’t know Jesus!

I love this book. I have read this book many times, in which I have had visitations from our Lord Jesus teenage members in my family can also witness seeing the Lord too. It seems to be clearly obvious that those of you who have commented that David E.Taylor is false teacher, have not experienced face to face encounters with the Lord.
This book through David E.Taylor given by Jesus is designed to prepare
Many for personal visitations. Jesus wanted to use this book has a tool along with His Holy word to remove veils from your eyes, that only give you a surface understanding of His scriptures. Has mentioned in this book Jesus desires to come to you, to reveal things about your life and walk with Him. It seems to me that your problem is not only with David E. Taylor but rather a lack of intimacy with Jesus Christ and the Father beyond His written text. It is one thing to read the words of a author, it’s another thing to know the author (God). God wants us to know Him, not only the words He says. Just knowing scripture doesn’t bring about revelation, or rightly dividing the word. Such accusations of this sort only brings about demonic division and snares the work of God on the earth. To accuse this man of being false without ever meeting him shows the need for you to know Jesus face to face, because knowing the Lord like this will enhance and reveal those who labor amongst you! Jesus loves you and wants to appear to you! John 14: 21, Mark 16: 12

Amy, after reading all of these comments, I see both view points and God’s Word is provided to defend both of them, but what the clear evidence concerning your stance is that you lack relationship and love which is what flows from Jesus’ heart in everything that He does and says, as well as it shows you lack a true understanding of the Scriptures. Ms. Garcia, I love how you define God’s word from a perspective of God’s word that isn’t just a bunch of do’s and dont’s but clearly expresses His heart for ALL of mankind and not just Christians or believers. God has always had mankind in His foresight and His mind hasn’t changed concerning humans. It is His deepest desire to have fellowship with man face to face once again. The Lord didn’t make a mistake when He first created Adam and allowed him to look upon His face. Man’s relationship with God as a whole didn’t end but, the “face to face intimacy” ceased after Adam and Eve disobeyed the Lord. God sent Jesus to reverse the curse of being separated from God and through His sacrifice, He restored everything that we lost because of their disobedience and this included the face to face relationship with God.
“..God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself…”
    - 2 Cor 5:19
I personally have seen Jesus face to face as a result of David E. Taylor’s life ministry without having any knowledge that he or his ministry existed. Jesus appeared to me in a dream in July of 2008 and spoke well of Mr. Taylor to me, calling him His friend and saying to me that, “David teaches what I teach”. I wasn’t raised in Church nor did I know a bunch of Scriptures at that time, but one thing was for sure… I saw Jesus face to face and He expressed to me His own personal approval of what Apostle Taylor is teaching. That let me know immediately that if someone doesn’t agree with this message then they have an evil spirit in them and are being used by the devil just as the religious pharisees were in Jesus day to stop what God was doing in the earth at that time..!!

Exactly Mr.Ware, I as well was not raised in the church and Jesus and the Father have appeared to me the same to validate Apostle David E. Taylor and their relationship as His friend. Before I ever experienced Apostle Taylor’s ministry the Father came to me in a dream (as He did with many in the Holy Bible to converse with about His will and defend His friend Abraham) and told me that He was going to use David E. Taylor like Moses. I never heard anything like it before and I began to seek God to make sure it was Him who gave me that message and as a result the Lord Jesus Christ came to me one morning in a beautiful glorious white robe on a cloud with a beautiful golden rod and David E. Taylor was with Him. The Lord began to give me dreams and visions about David E Taylor and the last day army he was going to raise up through David E. Taylor to dismantle Satans kingdom and demonic forces in America. I think it would be wise to take the approach of Gamaliel:
Acts 5:34 Then stood there up one in the council , a Pharisee , named Gamaliel , a doctor of the law , had in reputation among all the people , and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space ; 35 And said unto them , Ye men of Israel , take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men . 36 For before these days rose up Theudas , boasting himself to be somebody ; to whom a number of men , about four hundred , joined themselves : who was slain ; and all , as many as obeyed him , were scattered , and brought to nought . 37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing , and drew away much people after him : he also perished ; and all , even as many as obeyed him , were dispersed . 38 And now I say unto you , Refrain from these men , and let them alone : for if this counsel or this work be of men , it will come to nought 39 But if it be of God , ye cannot overthrow it ; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. The lies you are telling is that of the Pharisees, your religious spirit has put a veil on you that you cannot see God’s messenger of the covenant and neither can you hear his words. He is a modern day Moses and I urge you to be very careful how you take scripture out of context. David E. Taylor is not teaching a second coming taking place now,He teaches the rapture and that it has not taken place yet. He is teaching that the face to face relationship with Jesus is preparing us for the second coming of Christ. David E. Taylor is not a liar and Jesus Himself is backing Him up! There is no way to make something like this up and it be validated around the world by countless millions who Jesus has appeared to as a result of reading Face to Face Appearences from Jesus by David E. Taylor and I suggest you read it also without religious pride.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments , and keepeth them , he it is that loveth me : and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father , and I will love him , and will manifest myself to him.

I must say, that I am a bit heart broken by such accusations. Clearly, the opposers and disputers, have not experienced the depth of whom JESUS really is! Unfortunately, it seems to me that you have read the law, but you have no clue who the writer is. Jesus is NOT the Father.. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are considered “3 in 1″, because they are in agreement with each other, not because they are all the same “person”.
Reading the word without understanding is a dangerous thing to do. Learn the context that the Word of God is being used and learn how it is not being used.
Apostle David E. Taylor is a man of GOD that walks in impeccable integrity and character, mirroring that of Jesus. His love for the Lord far outweighs anything in this life. His desire is to share with us this level of friendship and intimacy with Jesus!! He urges everyone that comes into contact with his ministry to seek JESUS!!!!! Above ALL ELSE!!! He is not interested in “selling” a book, or making a profit, in fact I have been in many service, where he has not charged for his products, but freely gives what he has received, after having paid a price that most would not be willing to pay. Which is clear of those of you who find it soo easy to condemn, and belittle the fact that Jesus would want to appear to you, because of your pride, and the reality of the fact that HE has not appeared to you yet!! The Lord Meets us at the level in which we seek HIM… If we are tooo busy seeking to know His word and quote the scriptures, rather than seeking after Him and having an intimate relationship, we will always fall short in the real revelation of the meaning in the written word. Jeremiah 29:13Deut. 4:29 1 Sam 13:14…… If knowing the Word alone was enough for Fulness in God, than He wouldn’t tell us soo often to seek His face! Why would He tell us to seek something we can’t find??? He is not cruel!! He doesn’t tease us with what to seek, only to never be able to find it!!! Psalm 27:8 ….Psalm 105:4…. 1 Ch 16:11… However we must humble ourselves, pray, and turn from our wicked ways! We deceive ourselves in the areas that we are wicked in. He rewards us for diligently seeking Him. We will find rest, love, and peace that is like none we have ever tasted once we come into this face to face relationship with JESUS!!!
We have to be ready to set aside any ideas and thoughts we already have about God. We have to be ready to accept anything that God reveals to us. We need to let go of every “religious” tradition and doctrine that keeps us from seeking Him with all of our heart, mind and soul. As long as we are holding on to earthly things, we will never ascend to the level of stepping into heavenly things.
God is Living!! Living things move. Jesus is clearly appearing to hundreds of thousands of people and taking many to heaven to bring back messages to help save the lives of many.. There is NO denying the appearances of JESUS!!!! My prayer is that all of you that oppose this awesome opportunity of a lifetime, that by the mercy of God, Jesus would come to you!! To dispell your unbelief and your little faith in just who He is!! Don’t forget that with GOD, there is NOTHING impossible!!!!!
Knowing only the Word, and not applying it, and BECOMING like JESUS, will keep us from the fulness of Him also. Reread 1 Corinthians 13, and if God is Love, and we are to be like Him, than we should start applying the very things He tells us Love is!!!!!! He is balanced!! He is perfect!! We all fall and fail miserably each day, however, He has made the way and the pattern for us to follow!! Instead of seeking to know what you already know, go deeper in HIM and seek those things that are higher!! Take God out of your box of limitations, and let Him bring you into the vastness and fulness of how mighty and powerful HE is!!!!
Our focus should not be in condemning, but in helping in love… Satisfaction should not be finding the problem, but rather being the solution!! When Jesus is with us, and He is fully allowed to abide in us and we in Him, then we carry solutions, we don’t add to the problem or the disbelief…
And as many of you have already suggested, seeking the Lord for yourself is Great!!! I agree whole-heartedly, but I do believe, that many people have chosen to seek Him at a much greater level than many of the rest of us. In saying that, sometimes it would behoove us to glean from the revelation that others have fought and sought for, and receive!!! We shut the doors to soo much of what God has distined for us, because of our arrogance and our pride… We expect Him to only come in certain ways our of certain mouths, in certain books, or anything we are familiar with… He is calling us higher… He is calling us to know HIM!!! If we haven’t gotten something fresh from Him since our “salvation”, chances are we are not seeking, and also, we are therefore getting Him at the level we sought HIM!!! For what He can do for us, not for how we can do for HIM!!! When we come into intimacy with Him, our focus is no longer on ourself, but on others!!!! Praise God!!! Thank You Jesus for Your Appearing!!! and the Intimacy You desire with us FACE TO FACE!!!!! And I might add, thank you Apostle Taylor for your dedication and for your unending love for the Lord!!! You are an example and your life is a testimony of how we shall “know them by their fruit”!!! He is a REWARDER of those that diligently seek HIM!!!!! Much appreciation to you and for the price you’ve paid, and that I am able to receive from your price!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you! :)

Its amazing how people have to find one scripture to try to dismantle the working of God because clearly God is working with this man like Moses in the bible. There are many scriptures to prove that Jesus can manifest Himself before the rapture. The scriptures given is out of context due to the fact that this is referring to the rapture not having a personal face to face relationship with the Lord and preparing people for this type of relationship (John 14:21).

This man is not in any way, a false prophet. I am 14 years old and I have seen Jesus face-to-face as a result of Apostle David E. Taylor’s ministry, as well as other supernatural encounters from Jesus and God the Father as well. Jesus has come to me and told me He has a plan for me. I’ve seen his face and in another visitation, I saw Jesus placing a gold crown with rubies and emeralds on Apostle Taylor’s head. I’ve had multiple visitations from Jesus and I also saw God’s face in one of Apostle Taylor’s healing crusades. In one visitation, Jesus physically came to me and held his arms out, saying “I love you, just love me.” Then He wrapped his arms around me and when I hugged him, his robe felt like no other material on Earth. My first visitation from Jesus also appeared in a healing crusade held by Apostle Taylor in 2010. Also after reading the book, “Face to Face Appearances from Jesus”, Jesus came to me. He has manifested himself in many ways such as dreams, visions, and showing Himself in the clouds. I pray that God will reveal Himself to everyone that reads this blog, and the creators, that your live’s will be transformed through the ministry of Jesus Christ Himself, on Earth today.

the fact that anybody can doubt this ministry is a true sign that satan’s demons are scared. They are trying to get as many people to disregard this move of God happening in Detroit and around the world. I’m a 21 year old young man who was doing and dealing drugs just south of Detroit, but God came to even me, one night as i saw the way I was living. I wasn’t free, or happy. But God’s grace has delivered me, and through Apostle David E. Taylor’s Ministry, I was given two separate prophetic words dealing with what God has planned for my life. Since then I have gotten OFF of local probation programs, no more court dates, no more fees, no more drugs, no more chains of addiction! I’ve Been Set Free!! I Thank God everyday for the life that He has blessed me with, and am very appreciative of what God is doing through Apostle David E. Taylor. Thank you Jesus, for your love, and for appearing to me face to face!!

To my dear misguided sister, let me help you concerning your article about Apostle David E. Taylor.
You have reached me to late, I have seen the lord, as has my wife, and family and countless of our brothers and sisters across the globe. From the first that he appeared to over 500 brethren (1 Corinthians 15) and Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus unto the present, he makes himself known visibly to us. He is just as apt to walk through your door, and mine, as he did the disciples door in John 20. Now the fact that Apostle Taylor teaches that he has seen Jesus does not imply that he equates himself with the Lord. How you make that connection, I’m not sure. It is as far reaching as to say because you have seen the President of the United States does not mean you think you are the President. You will not find in any teaching of Apostle Taylor that he equates himself with Christ, as anyone’s savior or Lord. The basis of your article, Mathew 24, which is Jesus’ discourse on his return is not intended at all to suppose that Jesus will not make himself manifest (reveal) John 14:21. In fact, if one doesn’t believe they can see him now, at this present moment, what makes anyone think they will believe to see him at his appearing in the clouds (Acts 1, 1st Thess 4:17, 2nd Timothy 4:8) an appearing that Apostle Taylor is still looking for and teaches that is yet to come but will happen as Jesus said he would.
He has never claimed to be Christ, a christ, or any other incarnate patriarch.
Be careful that you do not side with modern day apologist or their fathers the pharisees of old who in the name of defending established religion are actually found fighting a move of God. That same spirit that fought against the prophets of old, that killed Jesus, is at work today killing reputations of Gods servants. Looking for faults, missteps, anything by which they can “catch” their prey. Fault finding is so far removed from the heart of God, especially in this case where there is not a shred of false or inaccurate teaching, anywhere. Further, unless you and this organization can produce any factual statement that Apostle Taylor is equalizing himself to Christ in the context of Mathew 24, then; you and this organization should make a headline retraction of your previous statement.

    • Thanks for the response, Steven, but I never said that he equalled himself to Christ. I’m not quite sure where that accusation comes from.

        Amy,
It seems that you have. When you quoted the verse about false Christs and false prophets you did not exclude him from that text. However,If you say that you did not accuse him of this I will believe that, I certainly do not want to be apart of any false accusations. The fact remains that Jesus still appears to people today. His Father has not grounded Him to heaven, and you’re missing out on the greater relationship,a more intimate relationship then you could possibly know.
Pray sincerely that you would become a pursuer of HIS truth and not a defender of religious tradition.

Hello, I am an 11 year old girl who has been to many of Apostle David Taylors services. He is defiantly not a false prophet he speaks the truth! He has pro formed many many miracles I do not doubt him and neither shall you, dont come against a man of God! Good things will not show up in your future! When I was 8 I saw the Lord in a dream, he was wearing the most wonderful white robe! It was so so soft looking! You could not find a matieral this soft in the earth! This is not a lie! You may think you cant see him but yes it is possible!! apostle Taylor is a wonderful man of God in no way is he demonic!! Hearing these comments that say he is a false prophet make me disgusted. I do not understand why you would make a site that is full of lies. When it comes to somebody as great as God or Jesus you know it’s true! @Amy I am praying for you to realize that what your saying is a lie and will come to your sences and realize that talking about this man of God in a bad way will not turn up good for you in the future. I’m telling you this because I have heard about people getting put in the hospital for talking bad about a man of God the way you are!
I am hoping you will read this and realize you need to change your ways!!

I don’t believe that anyone is doing any threatening. However, in the word, in Genesis, when Maraim spoke against Moses, the Lord God did curse her with leprosy… That was in fact a consequence. God is the Final Judge, and He most certainly doesn’t need our help. Clearly lives have been changed and literally transformed through this mans ministry and the message that Jesus Himself has delivered to him. There is no denying.. You are very much entitled to your opinion, but, failing to see the changes that are happening in the lives of those whom Jesus has appeared to, doesn’t change the truth that HE does come to us Face to Face.. When Jesus comes, He saves, He restores, He brings life, love and hope!!! He truly gives life and gives it more abundantly!!! Life is never the same when you see Him Face to Face!! The love that you feel will change you forever!! Your heart will become soft and pliable, and you will realize that He is soo much bigger than our limited minds can ever imagine!! That is why soo many of us are not walking in the fullness of HIM.. We don’t know HIM… We know about Him from others that know about Him… Seek HIM, ALL of Him!! He desires us to come after Him deeper and deeper.. From Glory to Glory!! Don’t stay where you have always been, because of the comforts it affords you and the false idea that you are right about all you know. There is always something greater!!If we can learn about our delivery and our receiving of what is being said, then we can better understand the meaning of it. But our hearts must become soft and ready to receive. Oh God, I pray that you give us hearts like Yours!! The condition of our hearts truly determines the level of revelation we will be ready to receive.

In no way does Apostle Taylor try to take the place of God he’s doing what the Lord is asking him to do! We all have a calling and this is his!! Jesus wanted him to take the time to write about his trip to heaven and face to face appearences with Jesus!! he has paid a price that most people will not do!! He has been obedient..!! Apostle is a great man who shares the word! TALKING BAD AND LIEING ABOUT HIM WILL NOT BE GOOD IF YOU KEEP IT UP!! I Reccomed you stop now !

    • Again, if you would read carefully what I have said, I never said he was trying to take Jesus’ place.
We must be careful when it comes to visions and the interpretation of visions. We must keep in mind that the Bible is finished, and it tells us everything we need to know. The key truth is that if God were to give a vision, it would agree completely with what He has already revealed in His Word. Visions should never be given equal or greater authority than the Word of God. God’s Word is our ultimate authority for Christian faith and practice. If you believe you have had a vision and feel that perhaps God gave it to you, prayerfully examine the Word of God and make sure your vision is in agreement with Scripture. Whenever a person claims to be speaking for God (the essence of prophecy) the key is to compare what is said with what the Bible says. If God were to speak through a person today, it would be in 100% complete agreement with what God has already said in the Bible. God does not contradict Himself. 1 John 4:1 instructs us, “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 declares, “Do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good.” So, whether is it a “word from the Lord” or a supposed prophecy, our response should be the same. Compare what is said to what the Word of God says. If it contradicts the Bible, throw it out. If it agrees with the Bible, pray for wisdom and discernment as to how to apply the message (2 Timothy 3:16-17; James 1:5).

        Amy,
When I read what you’ve posted I hear your heart so clearly. And this saddens me most of all. Your hiding behind this format, your not defending the faith this is a cover for a CRITICAL HEART, a critical mindset. A religious spirit. I pray that Jesus will make himself so real you to, that you will see HIS heart and that you too will have a visitation from the Lord. Your critical heart will destroy you and those around you. Apostle Taylor’s ministry has always been about a intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Shown through the word of GOD. The book was written as I mentioned earlier for people that will never grace the door of a church because for years they’ve seen exactly the very thing you’re doing. Christian attacking one another. This very thing sickens me and I can only imagine how it grieves our Lord and Savior.

I am a spirit-filled charismatic Christian and I’ve been to David E. Taylor’s meetings and I can definitely say that this man is a false apostle/prophet. I do believe in modern-day prophets but this is one FACT that is probably not commonly known among those that are listening to him.
I look at the LIFE of the man and not just the message and I have known this: The church building he is currently using for his ministry is a building he essentially STOLE from another church and ministry. He had deceived the pastor and the church and managed to get a hold of ownership of the building (I still have the e-mail with the account but am recalling this from a faulty memory about the specifics) and then LOCKED the pastor out suddenly without warning or expectations confiscating all that were inside the building. He is a THIEF and a LIAR and it is by THIS fruit that you need to consider his ministry for any that do believe he really sees visions of Jesus.
If he is a true man of God and made a mistake, he should have returned the building and apologized. I clearly see this has yet to happen. I still get the e-mail updates from the pastor of the church building that he stole, so my “source” is not heresay but a direct account of what happened.
I have also been to his meetings and I left shortly after because I could feel that something was not right. I went only because I loved that Detroit church and I loved that Pastor.
I don’t want to argue about other preachers with questionable habits that others have followed and got in error but that is still genuinely trying to follow Jesus and walking out the truth as they believe it. I’m just commenting because this is a case where David E. Taylor has failed to follow “Thou Shalt Not Steal” and still claims to be in obedience to Christ is a TRUE mockery of our faith and discredits other true prophets of God.
If the the moderators of this website desires to have a copy of the account of what this man did to the church in Detroit, please e-mail me and I will forward it to you as I still have the e-mail. I only ask that you protect the identity of this pastor that was deceived by David E. Taylor and his church as he has gone through enough from “Apostle” David E. Taylor.

“The false apostles are charged as deceitful workers (2Co_11:13), and that upon this account, because they would transform themselves into the likeness of the apostles of Christ, and, though they were the ministers of Satan, would seem to be the ministers of righteousness. They would be as industrious and as generous in promoting error as the apostles were in preaching truth; they would endeavour as much to undermine the kingdom of Christ as the apostles did to establish it. There were counterfeit prophets under the Old Testament, who wore the garb and learned the language of the prophets of the Lord. So there were counterfeit apostles under the New Testament, who seemed in many respects like the true apostles of Christ. And no marvel (says the apostle); hypocrisy is a thing not to be much wondered at in this world, especially when we consider the great influence Satan has upon the minds of many, who rules in the hearts of the children of disobedience. As he can turn himself into any shape, and put on almost any form, and look sometimes like an angel of light, in order to promote his kingdom of darkness, so he will teach his ministers and instruments to do the same. But it follows, Their end is according to their works (2Co_11:15); the end will discover them to be deceitful workers, and their work will end in ruin and destruction.” Oh, children, be careful what you see, what you believe, the road is indeed very wide to destruction. Never put experience before the Word of God. His Word is above His name, is the Authority and the Light in these dark times, . His Word is Truth and sharper than any two edged sword. The flesh and mind can be deceived. Yes… But, the spirit belongs to Him. He protects His sheep because He goes out before them. Amy, you have done your job here. Let the LORD deal with the wolves. Time will reveal who this man truly is.

    Matthew 15
1Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
2Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
3But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
4For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
    5But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
6And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
7Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
10And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
11Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
Jesus is alive He’s not bound by our Church traditions, we limit Jesus by the Law. What we’ve been doing as a church is NOT working, the world is getting worse, the church has no effect, NONE. We need Jesus and HIS Father to come down and fix us, fix what’s broken and He has ALWAYS had a man to work with. Apostle Taylor is one of those men, He is not Mose, He has NEVER claimed to be. But, God IS working with him to deliver this nation. He could work with you too if you’d get out of your religious tradition that make the will of God of NO effect.

Wow! Those that put thier hope in trust in man have what?
Proverbs 20:6 Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?
Proverbs 16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
Eccesiastes 5:1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. 2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. 3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words……7 For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God.
    Psalm 33:13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. 14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. 15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works. 16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. 17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. 18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
    Trust God
Psalm 33:11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
    Psalm 4:5 KJV
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
    Psalm 5:11 KJV
But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
    Psalm 7:1 KJV
    O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me;
    Psalm 31:6 KJV
I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.
    Psalm 40:4 KJV
Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
    Psalm 55:23 KJV
But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
    Trust No Man!!
Does this describe who you are following?
Isaiah 56:10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. 11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. 12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
    Psalm 118:8 KJV
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
    Psalm 118:9 KJV
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
    Psalm 146:3 KJV
Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
You say this man has fruit based on what? The Signs and Wonders
Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
2 Thessalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
If this man is walking after the Commands given to us of Christ and His chosen apostles he wouldn’t be drawing folks away from God’s Holy Word. The Christ and His true apostles revealed the truth of God’s word and didn’t take away from any of the Lords commands. Jesus Himself fulfilled the Law and stated before hand, he came for that very purpose. Even so He said not one letter will fade from the Law until all that is written in the law and the Prophets has been completed.
1 Thessalonians 2:3 For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: 4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. 5 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness: 6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ. 7 But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children: 8 So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.
2 Corinthains 11:12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Deuteronomy 13:1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass , whereof he spake unto thee, saying , Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known , and let us serve them; 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
True Fruit is a result of walking in obedience to God’s commands. You want to see true fruit look to where the Church is being killed for His Name. Where they are pouring out thier blood for His glory. That is fruit!! That is laying asside this life looking forward to the next.
It is NOT Exploitation of people unversed in God’s commands, feeding upon thier emotional needs, for thier own gain.
Proverbs 1:10 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. 11 If they say , Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: 12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit: 13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil: 14 Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: 15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: 16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. 17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird . 18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. 19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away : and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Johbn 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another. 18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. 23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
1 Corinthians 4:6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
Proverbs 1:28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer ; they shall seek me early , but they shall not find me: 29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. 31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. 32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

  41. Will we do the work of the Holy Spirit that listens in the presence of God and speaks that which he hears? I suggest that if we have the Holy Spirit living within us, we listen to the still small voice that I know to be tangibly apparent.
Amy has written her opinion and so has everyone else from the perspective of their respective positions. Her error is the accusation that David is a false prophet because of what she read in the bible. Taken out of context and open to misinterpretation she clearly and unwittingly causes division within the body.
Is Christ divided? If so we are none of his. God said in HIS WORD that he gave the world to Nebuchadnezzar a Babylonian, used Cyrus a Persian to rebuild the Temple, sent a lying spirit to cause Ahab to die in battle and boasted on a Gentile called Job but is unable to use a professing Christian as David to perform signs and wonders.
Can we honestly declare that God who appeared to the Israelites in a cloud as they fled Egypt is unable to appear in clouds again. Let us season our words with wisdom or else answer to God for their abuse to the falling away of others.
    Blessings

Amy, You should be very carefull about saying bad things against this man. There have been serious Consequences that has happen to people who have said all kinds of bad things. This man is one of Jesus friend and Jesus will stick up for him. You should seek Jesus and repent before something happens to you. If it is not already happening.
I pray that Jesus will open your eyes to the truth and He will come and visit you too. I am currently reading his book. You are wrong about him. He is a man who spent hours just to be closer to Jesus. Now Jesus has gotten closer to him and is using him to bring people into a face-to-face relationship with Jesus. What could be more awesome than that. I am currently reading his book. Everything he talks about is backed up by Scripture. Read it for yourself.
I just wanted to warn you. You need to seek Jesus. Seek Jesus on this matter like you never done before. Keep seeking until you get an answer. Because if you don’t and you continue you will find yourself being judge by Jesus until you repent.
You need to seek Jesus because this man is a friend of Jesus and is being used by God in a great way. You don’t want to miss out. You can have a face-to-face relationship with Jesus. Why would you pass that up when it is being offered to you. You only get one life. One life. Why not go for it. A relationship with Jesus is better than and religion can offer.
Don’t be like the Pharisees was.

  43. Danielle, why do you think I do not know Jesus? What are these consequences you speak of? I have not said bad things against this man, but I will continue to compare his claims against what the Word of God says. That is not being a Pharisee. A Pharisee is one who teaches the law and who adds to it a stumbling block for believers–which is what this false preacher does.

      Amy,
I didn’t mean it that you didn’t know Jesus. I am wanting you to seek Jesus on this matter. Seek Jesus. Pray until you get an answer. Don’t stop until you find out the truth. I am encouraging you to seek Jesus so you can find out the truth.
. You have written this website against this man. You are calming he is a false prophet and titled it Here comes More Wolves. This man is not false at all. He is true. Jesus is with him. Which means you are going against Jesus and that can be very dangerous. Jesus has rebuked people who went against this man. Plus you will get to miss out on what Jesus is doing that will be sad. Jesus is so awesome.
Have you read this man’s book. If you haven’t i would encourage you to read it. He backs up everything he said from Scripture. Plus Jesus told him to complete the book and gave him a date. This book is being use to bring people into a face to face relationship with Jesus. i would have never known this would ever be possible. I too have seen Jesus. He saved me back in 2009. He came to me and told me He wanted me back. i accepted. that expirence is a life changer. I still see Jesus and i will continue it. Because of this man I will beable to grow and seek Jesus with my everything. I am following his examples and i am about to have a break thru. Read his book and you will find everything has been backed up by scripture.
this can happen to you. you can have a face to face relationship with Jesus. That is why you should seek Jesus on this truth so you wont miss it and you can have a personal relationship with Jesus too.

I believe that what Amy is trying to do here is spelt out in Jude 1:23 “save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh”.
Sadly, when people are deceived, they are resistant to the truth, unless God merciful enlightens them. Many think they are saved, but they are not. Their consciences have been dulled by ear tickling messages. How so very heartbreaking!
It’s so simple: just pick up your bibles and weigh this man’s theology (or any other professing Christian preacher’ theology and doctrine for that matter), sin the light of holy scripture! The Word of Faith and their friends (Copelands, Hagin, T.D. Jakes, Osteen, Joyce Meyer, etc.), have done so much damage that people have become blind even to ‘basic’ or obvious falsehood. Lord, please have mercy.

Hmm I am always watching when people call someone false. I know there are things David has said that you cant find written like saying Jesus came down because He wanted that right hand seat also came because He wanted Gods friendship. Now what I just typed David said. Sound ok yes? Yet what pops to mind with me is Jesus said everything He did and said was never of Himself…nothing of Himself but the Father.
Now using words like “because of their arrogance, limited knowledge, instilled beliefs and overall pride”. Its what is written is what is true.
What I said here you can not twist or say I took it the wrong way or heard it wrong you can listen to 1-4 all you want on youtube and then search you bible or any one you want and you will never find anything that says the reason Jesus came was because He wanted that right hand seat.. and the friendship with God. There were others.
Yet I speak no evil of this man I do not know his heart. What I am saying is YOU that read this… if it is not in the world of GOD the BIBLE you should RUN from it. No matter what it looks like sounds like..if its not written dont follow it. I could careless what signs follow David.
What people don’t understand is the name of Jesus HAS to do what it is said to do. This is why some false teacher can do signs and wonders. Gods word..Jesus name has to do what it was said it could do. So some will stand before the Father and say.. did we not do wonders, healings and what not..in your name? Yep they sure did..but then never new HIM!
Never seek the power, the signs the wonders. Seek Jesus 1st..put Him 1st, love, forgive, pray, share Jesus then all the other things will come. Some seek money and fame… but will not give it up. Make sure its written. The Father has not left heaven and Jesus has not come down and showing Himself off. Find what the word says not even what I just said.. make sure its written. For this is what God will say to you!
He will say “did I not say, was it not written”. You can not tell Him.. well David say, Tom said, Danny said.. oh we will have to answer for all that we have lead the wrong way but only YOU can answer for you. Why? For you have the word..

Its takin me SEVERAL YEARS to give my self to Christ & This past weekend Apostel Taylor was here in California. YES I DID SEE JESUS IN MY DREAMS & YES HE SPOKE OF THE CANCER & HIS JESUS WORDS NOT MINE “HEALED” Ish 53:4-5 Also Ish 53:1 Who report will we believe. Personally I never read those scriputures in the Bible and I could not had told you where they was located. For the most part I guess I could was still sort of a heathen but I did accept Jesus as my lord & Savior. in my dreams HE TOLD ME TO STAND ON THOSE SCRIPTURES!! After reading a bunch of the False statements about David Taylor I see why It took me & a bunch of other so long Its ppl like a few of the statement make us RUN & STAY AWAY FROM CHURCH.. Im not sure if your aware but it makes it hard for NONE believers to come to Christ!! These articals & statements look & feel like ALWAYS IN JUDGMENT POSTION… I think if we know Christ we could win souls by our daily living & Genuine LOVE IT DRAWS them in automatically. So far a few of my friends who dont believe in God ask me with out running God down there throat or being in judgement ask me what has change about me & I said Christ come meet him for yourself. Guess what they came & joined NO PRESSURE, NO JUDGEMENT, NO KNOWING A BUNCH OF SCRPUTRES JUST WALKING LIKE CHRIST. Im sure this statement will have everyone Praying for me & saying a thousand scrpitures but guess what Good does it do if im hanging over a ledge & about to fall for you to pull out your bible & find a really good scriputure to read to me. HOW ABOUT SHOWING ME YOUR HAND & PULL ME UP RIGHT WHERE I AM OVER THE LEDGE THIS I CAN BELIEVE A LOT FASTER…. After that I will have the same revelation that MAN IF GOD HAD NOT HAD PUT ON SOMEONES HEART TO PULL ME OFF THAT LEDGE I WOULD HAD DIED.

To be truly saved, Lee, one must first be convicted of their sin, come to understand their vileness before a holy God…that they truly do deserve to go to hell.Telling a someone they are a sinner who is going to hell and they need repent does not sound loving at all. It sounds like judgment…and it is…it is God’s judgment on us all! God is not just a God of love…He is also a God of wrath who is angry with sinners everyday. And unless we share that with people, and they come to understand it, they cannot be truly saved. What seems unloving to you IS love. Love cares enough about a person to confront him with the truth. First one must understand his lostness and need of a savior, then truly repent of his sins, turn from them, and trust in Christ alone to be saved. People need to hear the bad news first…that they are wretched and lost and then the good news…Christ died to save them if they repent. That may sound like an unloving, judgmental message to you, but that is what the Scripture teaches about salvation. You DO need to know what the Scriptures say in order to understand what Christ has done for us and to communicate that message effectively to others. Just living a ‘good life’ and being ‘loving’ does not get people saved. It may, in fact, lead them to a false conversion. They join in church and worship activities with a lot of ‘nice’ people, they feel better about themselves, have a religious experience, are sincere and think they are saved when they are really not. There are many false converts today lured into feel-good churches where the Scriptures are rarely read or expounded upon. Instead, it is all about having mystical experiences. But be careful. The Jesus you encounter in those experiences may be a fake Jesus…actually the deceiver in disguise.
The Bible is the way to get to know God and to understand the true Christian faith. If you minimize its importance, you put yourself at risk of being led away by the many wolves that are lurking about today seeking to lead you from the true faith that can only be found in the Bible. You imply the Bible is not important. You elevate experience over the Bible …that is a very dangerous thing to do. The Bible tells us that in the Last Days many will be led away from the true faith by deceivers and the deception will be so strong that even the elect could possibly be fooled and led astray…and lead others astray. It is a time to test everything…every teaching against what God says in His Word. Read it, study it, hold fast to what it says. Test yourself by it to see if you are truly saved, and heed its warnings in this time of growing deception in the church. It would be a terrible to thing to stand before the Lord one day and hear the words, ‘Depart from me. I never knew you’. Seeing Jesus in a dream is not evidence of true salvation….not at all. New agers report having the same experiences…seeing someone who says he is Jesus come to them and speak to them. They are being deceived by Satan. Look to the the Bible rather than experiences….it will never lead you to a false Christ.

I am a spirit-filled charismatic Christian and I’ve been to David E. Taylor’s meetings and I can definitely say that this man is a false apostle/prophet. I do believe in modern-day prophets but here is one FACT that is probably not commonly known among those that are listening to him.
I look at the LIFE of the man and not just the message and I have known this: The church building he is currently using for his ministry in Detroit is a building he essentially STOLE from another church and ministry.
Taylor.

Carol, I used to attend ignited ministries for many years. I was a core group member and leader at one point. Pastor C.L. Johnston whom you’re speaking of was extremely blessed by David E. Taylor for the years that he had been there. This is a normal pattern though, with Pastor Johnston. He has an offensive nature and have always turned on men of God, when things don’t go his way. Yes, he is very sweet outwardly but the inside is another story. I too receive those disrespectful emails from pastor C.L. And I personally spoke with him. He shared how he didn’t have enough money to keep the building open. David Taylor then stepped in to help him by paying over $500,000 out of his own pocket to buy the building and keep pastor johnston’s ministry afloat. In the mean time, through his offense, CL Johnston spoke evil lies over the pulpit about David E. Taylor to his congregation so he was put out. I no longer live in Michigan but as I recently checked on both of their ministries, CL seems to constantly diminish while David Taylor’s is waxing stronger! Keep up the work brother… And YES… JESUS HAS APPEARED TO ME AFTER READING DAVID TAYLOR’S BOOK!!!!

Wait, this guy is in TN? I live in TN, and I’ve not seen hide nor hair of Jesus, the Father, or the Holy Spirit running around this area. I would think at least the ground would shake or there’d be a blinding light if a holy appearance was put in. Lying charlatans like this guy make me sick.

I was at a meeting recently in Taylor, and I too heard right out of his own mouth that to compare his ministry to any other ministry… well just not to do it because there were no comparisons. God is not using anyone else like he uses him. He even said things about God waking him up and telling him there was a lady in a different country that was getting closer to having the same level of relationship with God as David was. He gives the impression that he is closer to God than ANYONE IN THE EARTH. I also heard him say things that grieved me inside regarding being above everyone else in his relationship with Jesus and God. The Bible says that God is no respecter of persons. I believe that some people can have closer relationships with God, but to go around boasting about it, doesn’t do anything for anyone.
